Maya POV
I walked towards Amber's room after packing my suit cases and bags, despite the fact that she was unhappy with me for forgiving Zack so readily, but I knew she would understand. When I opened the door and entered her room, I was shocked to find that she was still awake.
She dressed up and exited the washroom all of a sudden. "Are you going someplace?" I questioned, my eyebrows furrowed, perplexed.
She sighed and snatched her purse. Then, huffing, she replied, "I can't let you go to the airport by yourself. It's the first time you've walked away from me."
It was, after all, the first time. I'm leaving the city alone and will be separated from her. I hugged her close and smiled at her. "I will miss you," she whispered as a tear escaped her eyes.
