I woke up in the morning feeling well I wished the way I felt was refreshing but instead I feel like someones slamming a rock on my head continuously. I groaned as I got up and searched my draw for pills.
“Alpha, Blood Havens Park Alpha will be here anytime soon”
“It’s just six in the morning why would they be here so early?”
“ uhmmm”
“Speak”
“It’s actually ten in the morning Alpha, you over slept”
“Why didn’t you wake me up earlier Elijah!”
“Sarah said you drank and you needed the extra sleep”
“Why did I get a couple as Beta and Gamma, uhggg I should fire you'll!”

I ran to the washroom for a shower and quickly got dress in a peach dress and sandals. I decided to let my hair free. Ensuring that I looked somewhat presentable I walked out of my room and into the kitchen.
Ever since my family left, the pack house has never felt the same. The once busy kitchen was now empty and I can never forget how dad use to seat in the living room infront of the large flat screen tv watching football. You could have hear the tv from a mile away and him shouting goal. I smiled as I grabbed the left over pizza in the fridge and warmed it up. Grabbed a cartoon of milk and poured myself a cup. The house is just so quiet now and after about a year living without them, I'm still not use to it. You know sometimes when I hear the door open or I hear a child’s laughter I turn around expecting to see one of them. I sound crazy.
“Elijah where are you now?”
“I’m at the entrance of the barrier, is there something you need?”
“No, I'm on my way”
Well, I have at least ten minutes to kill, so I might as well take a stroll through the pack see what’s going on after all I'm Alpha. I wonder if my thoughts are to childish compared to the thoughts of other Alphas.
“Good morning Alpha”
“Good morning Mr Jones Joel’s the library coming along”
“Great, a new shipment of books is coming in today”
“I'll pass by later”

Mr Jones and I go way back, I use to sneak out of the house and go to the library to read. I still love reading but all I r******w are piles of documents.
“Alpha where are you”

“Blood Haven is less than 2 minutes away”
“Elijah stop nagging me, I'll be there faster than you can say Blood Haven”
“Blood Haven! You’re still not here!”

I turned into my wolf and ran like the wind to the barrier, oh by the way the barrier is just another name for the end of where our pack grounds are. There’s guards near the barrier twenty-four seven which ensures there isn’t any trespassers and rogues. I looked up ahead to spot Elijah acting like a chicken gosh I could see him trembling in his boots right now like a woos!
“I'm here!”
“Yes, barely!”
“Stop being such a cry baby”
Eljah scoffed as he turned around talk to the guards about something.
“Isn’t that them?”
“yup”
As Elijah answered me a car packed in front of us and the back seat door opened and for some reason my wolf felt excited for the first time in a long time and god I couldn’t blame her the guy was an abomination! Why the hell will the moon goddess make a guy look so hot! I thought Elijah looked like a player but man Elijah can’t compare to him god, I think I wet my panties!
“ouch!” “What was that for?”
“Focus! You’re oogling!”
“Fine!”
I took a deep breath and composed myself by the time I was done the guy had already walked up to us.
“I'm Alpha Ryder, where’s your Alpha?”
Typical why do guys think that women can’t be Alphas. I inwardly rolled my eyes as I replied
“That would be me”
And that’s when it hit me, the smell, he smelt so good like Lavender and my wolf was in a frenzy. My brain was in turmoil. I suppressed the feeling as I finished my sentence
“That would be me, I'm Alpha Kimberly nice to meet you Alpha Ryder”
“I have something to take care of my Beta Elijah will show you around, we will meet up for dinner to talk about other things”

I turned around and began to walk away as fast as I could without them realizing something was off.

I came out of the car just to be hit with the strong smell of freshly baked chocolate cake and god it smell good. I stood there shocked for a while before taking in where the scent came from and honestly to say I was shocked was an understatement. There stood a young lady with long black shiny hair, her blue ocean blue eyes were beautiful and at that moment lyncon said one word that I never expected to hair in my life ‘mate'!
She's gorgeous! By instinct all I wanted to do was walk up to her and kiss her cherry colored lips but unfortunately I wouldn’t be able to that right now. I reluctantly pride my eyes of her and walked towards the group of people I assumed were there to welcome me.I walked up to them and introduced myself .
“I'm Alpha Ryder, where’s your Alpha?”
There was complete silence is for a fee second which somewhat made me feel like I was missing something. But then I heard the most angelic voice ever, that caused a wave of pleasure to pass through every fiber of my being.
“That would be me”
I turned to face mu mates face filled with momentary shock and I inwardly smirked as my wolf did a backflip
“She knows” Lyncon said happily
When she finally recollects herself she hands me to her beta and walks away. I frowned as lyncon kept shouting in my head
“Go after her now, what are you waiting for”
“shush, she’s the alpha she can’t disappear besides she might need some time”
“grrr, fine”
I walked together with her beta as he gives me a tour of the pack but all I can think of is her.
“What’s your Alpha age?”
“oh our alpha just recently turned eighteen, she’s quite young but she’s does a great job taking care of us"
“mm”
“Is she the only child? Is that why she became Alpha?”
“Our Alpha family died in a rogue attack, she's the only one remaining so she had no choice, but I assure you she’s a great leader”
“With no disrespect are you asking so many questions because she’s a girl?”
I chuckled as I said “No, not really I just fine she’s interesting”
“You’re not the first to fine her interesting but you might as well give up our Alpha can't be won over, I don’t even think her mate can succeed”
I growled at the beta at the thought of other men pursuing what's mine.
“Lastly this is pack house, let me show you to your room”
