Chapter 15 Throughout the remainder of the day, I was experiencing dizziness and Galvin seemed to pick up on it, repeatedly checking in on me. As much as I wanted to push through it, I had to eventually make the decision to excuse myself. I didn't want it to impact my work, so I cleared it with Galvin and headed home early. Surprisingly, Galvin wasn't upset when I accidentally spilled the perfume. He didn't even mention it and instead asked if I had injured myself on some broken glass. It made me appreciate his concern for my well-being. It was a strange feeling as I stepped out of the taxi, still catching hints of the perfume in the air.
