Don’t get up, go back to sleep. It is your life now; you do not have to go by anyone’s schedule but your own. That’s it…..close your beautiful eyes……4:32am f**k, f**k,f**k,FUCKITY,f**k. My mind is racing, I feel like my body is not mine anymore. My run is not the same this morning, my runs are usually calming, but now I feel wide open. I feel like I hear, see, smell, and feel everything. I feel like I am trying to find something, I’m so off that I run my route 3 times today. I keep playing over in mind what happened with Mason, and I hate to say it, but it kind of hurt. I do not think I knew him enough to even like him let alone give a damn about what he thought of me. I will stay clear of the entire family.             After my shower, I feel drained and extremely hungry. I order an extra-large deep dish lock my door, my phone kept buzzing, so I cut it off, and latterly turn into a hermit all day. I have always wanted to just lay around, eat pizza and watch tv; before long, I was in a deep sleep.             I wake to a throbbing headache, my body aches all over, I feel like I cannot breathe, it is too hot. My legs hurt so bad, I crawl to the balcony and push open the French doors. I lay my face on the cold concrete praying for relief, but there is no answer. The pain is unbearable, I get out of fetal position and onto my knees hugging myself afraid to move. Suddenly, I hear my bones crack, my back bows, my body is twisting and distorting. Just as I get ready to scream my lips are sealed together as sharp teeth rip “through my lips, and I close my eyes to fight back the pain. A soft voice in my head whispers, that’s it just relax love let me in. It won’t hurt as bad, please trust me.” Knowing I do not have a choice, and for some strange reason this feels right, I do. I open my eyes, and I see the world.             I am staring down a beautiful white and grey muzzle, I look down at white paws. Everything around me smells beautiful, the full moon, is like a beacon of life. The voice comes back, “Hello Tra, I am Malka. I have been waiting to meet you”. “Sorry, if the feeling isn’t mutual, but I am scared shitless right now. Seeing that I just turned into an entire wolf and all. Please explain.” “I will my love, but we have to find someone first. If you do not mind, may I show you what it is like to be me?” I am guessing she knew my answer, because without warning, she leaps off the two-story balcony without any effort and takes off into a hard sprint through the forest. We are running so fast that everything should be a blur but with our senses, we see and hear everything, and I love it. I do not know if wolves can smile, but I am quite sure I am grinning. Suddenly, I pick up a familiar smell, my grandfather, but we are not near the house. There are many other scents as well, including my brother’s and the Bold’s. Cutting through the trees, I see a cave well lit with 4 wolves standing guard. Malka approaches slowly, head high, chest up, confidence radiant. We are twice the size of the wolves, but I do not know how to fight in wolf form. The wolves line up, their hackles are up, teeth are showing; one growls “Leave or die”. I am amazed at how we can mentally communicate as well. “The next threat you make will be your last”, I feel a wave of anger roll over us my eyesight changes, it is keener. We get lower to the ground for defense, prepared for an attack, the wolf lunges with one move we have him by the neck. Malka looks up at the other three who is confused if they should attack, “Your friend is not dead, yet. Go get your Alpha or he will be” we say through our lips. The wolf is paralyzed and whimpering, Malka is experienced because she knows the pressure points all too well. She tells the crying wolf, “Shut up, you brought this upon yourself”. Seconds later, a pack of wolves run out, I notice all males. My grandfather is a black wolf with gold eyes Tim -black wolf hazel eyes Mason-brown wolf grey paws Maddick-brown wolf grey belly Marcus-grey wolf with those ice-cold blue eyes My grandfather speaks, “Release him and no harm will come to you”. Malka tosses the wolf at his feet, and she just stares, there is nothing but silence and wind blowing. Mason’s patience is not yet seasoned, “What the f**k do you want?” My grandfather gives him a stare of disapproval, but he did not falter. Malka growls, “Watch your tongue boy. Sioux I know that a lot of your wolves have lost their spirits, but I at least thought you would have taught them how to recognize and respect us. Many have died for much less offenses.” Marcus was about to respond but was quickly silenced. My grandfather approached; he is not our size but bigger than the others. “Who are you?” “Well, it seems the All Knowing ones thought it would be fitting that you be the grandfather in human and wolf form” His eyes are wide, he stumbles back. “This can’t be my granddaughter died in battle many moons ago. I have been reincarnated 6 times since that grim fated day and her face haunts me every night.” Sioux says with clear anger in his tone. “Yes grandfather, but the All Knowing has a different path for me. They have waited for this special time to bring me back. There have only been a handful of female wolves, and none have been worthy, but now we are ready.” Ready for what, I do not understand, I am kind of understanding, but I don’t know what she expects of me. Then she whispers to me, “To rule my dear, to take our place as Queen”. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>    Mason steps forward with the pack, “Will someone fill us in”. Malka steps forward, “I am Malka, legion of Tracey Hendrix, daughter of Raja and Raina, protector of wolves, peace of the din, Queen of the pack”. A brown wolf steps forward, “We don’t know you; you are no queen of ours”. “Due to the fact that this is a new age, I will allow you to stand down once before I accept that as a challenge. Once a challenge is made, it will be to do the death; after I strip you of your throat and title, your family will then be removed from the pack.” Everyone laughed and then looked at William. William raised his head, “I am Sioux, legion of William Andrew Hendrix III, father of Raina, warrior of wolves, bringer of death, Enforcer for the Queen. What she says applies. You all know about the old spirits, our respect. You have seen my strength firsthand; you have witnessed my combat skills. She is me tripled. This is my spirit’s wolf granddaughter who died during battle hundreds of years ago. She sacrificed herself for her pack, that is all you need to know.” The pack glared at me like I stepped directly off the moon and bowed. Marcus looked at me with pure rage, disgust, and vengeance. I do not know if it was the wolf or me, but it made me stand taller, more resilient, and my soul grinned at the thought of war.
