Epilogue The call came on a Friday morning. Dr Brown’s team had found Blaine Macgregor. Callan, hand-in-hand with Aileen, had visited the morgue and identified Blaine. Pain had him dropping into a chair, uncaring of the tears trailing down his cheeks. But he’d pulled through, and now he glanced at the portrait in front of him, of Blaine. His best friend could finally rest in peace. They had had a closed coffin for him, adorned with white flowers to signify Blaine’s pure heart and musical prowess.
