I woke up slowly, my eyelids heavy, and the first thing I noticed was Hayden still lying right beside me. His chest rose and fell softly, his lips parted slightly in that peaceful way people look when they are completely lost in sleep. I found myself smiling unconsciously. Memories of the previous night rushed back, every moan, every thrust, every kiss. I felt my body tingle at the thought of it. It felt like everything in the world was fine for a brief moment.
I subconsciously bit my lower lip as I recalled every moment. I stretched my hands forward to trace his sharp jaw, but I stopped almost immediately as I didn't want to wake him up. The need to get close to him became heavy, pressing down on me. I watched him for minutes, smiling as if I wanted to go back to last night.
