Ashley School was over and I made my way back home without waiting for Hayden the way he had died in that message. It was a short day, the Friday before a long weekend which I had decided to use to keep myself very cautious. The house was empty and quiet as I stepped in, the first thing I did was dump my bag by the door. The second was to march straight upstairs and into the bathroom, turning the shower on until the water was practically steaming. I stripped out of my school clothes. I let the water sluice over me, washing away the tension of the day by the time I was done, my stomach rumbled, due to the anger I felt in the morning, I'd stormed out without breakfast. I padded downstairs, I ransacked the fridge, my eyes landing on leftover pepperoni and jalapeño pizza. I didn't bother
