Cortez shook her head. Circuit boards, some in bags, some in boxes, others in racks. Four computers.
“This is where I try to get my work done. Take a seat at the second computer, there. Pick a circuit board. Let’s see if we can’t get some of these checked and fixed.”
“Good idea.”
“Don't forget your anti-static glove. You don't want to poke a component, have it go bang.”
“Of course.”
Two computers came to life. Cortez nodded, pulled a pair of black gloves over her hand, and connected the cable to the tabletop. She took a board out of a bag, slotted it into place, frowned as the screen cleared, and settled.
