Mate?!
The word registered in Nyra's head just as Kael suddenly stormed out of the room.
How could he be her mate?
That was impossible.
And why the hell did he leave like that?
Nyra had so many questions. She paced to and fro until the door burst open and a male figure appeared.
“Get back to your room.”
She nodded slowly and strode out as the man behind her led her back and shut the door.
Her hands hurt, and her lips were still swollen from the savage kiss earlier. She could swear she’d felt something pull them apart…but what?
And mate? Was the moon goddess messing with her?
A few moments later, when the coast was clear, Nyra silently pushed the door open and slipped out. She glanced at the little map in her hands. Fortunately, it was stolen from Kael without his notice.
