Mirae POV
Based on the scholarship plan Mr joshua was lucky to get me, I no longer need to worry about college fees. Rent is piling up, living expenses is on the high side. And those bullies! . Someone just shouted my name.
Writer's POV
"Mirae, Mr Lydis calls for you" someone shouted to Marie. "What is it about ?", she asked. "I don't know but he seemed worried",she said and disappeared into the hallway.
After contemplating for a while on what was wrong she bumped into Serena and her clique of friends who bullies her.
"Hey there, it's our little Mirae", she said mockingly and the rest laughed.
"What is it", Mirae said sensing trouble decided to leave . She was pushed back to the wall forcefully." clear the hallway, our darling is about to cry and vent to grandma". Students began to leave the hallway as fast as they could to avoid the wrath of Serena and her friends.
"I want you to deliver this to this hotel at 10 pm, failure to do so ....", she smiled handing her a business card and a folder with a bundle of cash to Mirae and left.
Mirae hesitated and stumbled back and started crying, feeling disappointed and angry at herself for not defending herself. After a long thought she decided to go "it is worthwhile. Money is involved", she said reassuring herself.
