Chapter 20

Karla looked at me with the most tired but adorable face. She reached her blanket behind her and wrapped it around her back. Karla then leaned closer and lifted her legs around me. She was practically sitting in my lap. If the pillow wasn’t between us, I am pretty sure I would scare her with what she would feel. She nestled back into me and the spark soothed her until she fell asleep. I felt comfortable with this and was about to sleep but then I smelt him approaching. I quickly wrapped my arms around her and closed my eyes to pretend to be asleep. I heard Damon open the door. I know he could smell arousal but he didn’t know who it was. I heard the door shut and the footsteps walking away. I could sense his anger. I didn’t care though. I was happy to be here with Karla.   I kept my arms around her to do my best to heal her quicker. I did end up falling asleep and waking up to Karla stretching near the window. As she was stretching I noticed she had no clothing underneath the gown and I saw a mark on her back. Her ass looked good from this distance but she was distracted looking outside.   “Have you fully healed? There looks like a sore still on your lower back.” I said. I startled her when I started speaking. Karla tried to look but struggled to see if she was still injured. “If you sit down, I might be able to look. I can see the outline of your body, I can tell you have no underwear on. So to make you comfortable, I can look when your sitting.” I spoke. Karla came close to me. “Alistair.” She said quietly. “Oh holy f**k, you can hear me? And you can speak?” I asked. She smiled and let out a small laugh. “Yes but I don’t feel comfortable talking.” She said back. Who doesn’t feel comfortable talking? What kind of Luna can’t talk? The moon goddess is pranking me. “How come.” I asked. “I don’t fell like talking about it. But I trust you to not do more. Can you look without doing more?” Karla asked softly. “I can, but you are beautiful so if I get aroused then you can’t blame me.” I said. “I didn’t blame you yesterday.” She replied with a smile. “You know about yesterday?” I asked. “Yeah, there is no hiding that. Your smell is strong. But can you not tell anyone I can talk?” She asked. “I mean, okay but I like when you talk. You sound sweet.” I said to butter her up. She smiled and turned around. “I trust you.” She said. She lifted her gown until it was midway, the mark I saw, turned out to me a birthmark. I placed my finger along it. I mimicked its shape, a crescent moon. “It was a birth mark. It’s kinda cute.” I told her. She lowered her gown then looked at me. “Do I have the all clear, Dr Alistair?” She joked. “Oh Dr now am I? Come here you.” I joked as I pretended to chase her. I stood up but my foot was tangled in a blanket and I fell down. Her laugh made me smile though. “Oh you  bully, teasing me.” I say with a fake cry. “Be a man.” She joked. “I can’t I am a teenager.” I said jokingly back to her. “I want to ask you something.” I said to Karla. She sat on the bed. And she looked at me. “Karla, why are you here exactly?” I asked. “Before I answer you Alistair, I want to know if I can trust you?” Karla asked.
