“Leave her alone!” Damon said aggressively.

“Back off Damon! It’s a security issue not a kids club!” The man said.

They got closer and some shifted ripping their clothes in the process. Then Damon shifted and was growling. I noticed his wolf and I remembered it. I started breathing heavier.

“Stand DOWN!” Damon Growled as he stepped backwards to protect me as I was on the bottom step outside the door.

“Get lost brat!” Growled another wolf.

“STAND DOWN!” Another wolf growled as he jumped between Damon and the others.

“YES ALPHA!” They said as they ran away to shift and find clothes.

“I am sorry Karla, I will shift then meet you inside. Damon, can you walk her in your wolf form to her room first. Then go to yours to change?” Alpha Lincoln said.

Damon nodded.

Damon looked at me and gestured with his head to follow.

“Hello again, you never told me you had your wolf.” I said.

Damon didn’t reply.

He lead me to a room that had a note saying Karla on the door.

Damon saw me grab the note then he walked away.

“Please, talk to me. I don’t know what I did to make you ignore me?” I said quietly.

He looked at me then looked down. He looked sad. But he then started walking away.

“You are my only friend, and I failed that somehow. I don’t want you angry with me. I am sorry Damon.” I said sadly. I walked inside the room then read the note.

“Karla, we hope you like being here. We are proud to accommodate you and hope you like your room. We will take you shopping for some clothes in your size. Damon couldn’t stop singing your praises and saying how much he would love to hang out with you more. Enjoy your room sweet heart.

Yours Truly, Luna Liliana”

I sat there after reading it. What did I do to Damon? Is he upset because I ran off after he we kissed?

After a while, I decided to stand up and look outside the glass door near me, it lead to a balcony which I walked onto. I saw the large yard and garden, and there was even a large pool. I stared from the balcony for a bit until I heard someone knock on the door. I was walking towards the door, Luna Alpha Lincoln and a woman, I am guessing Luna Liliana was the woman.

“How are you settling in to your room Karla?” Alpha Lincoln asked.

“It’s really a large room, this is easily at least 8 times the size of my bedroom at my uncles place.” I told them.

“That must have been really small.” Alpha Lincoln said.

“Well Karla, I am Luna Liliana. You have met my son and his friend, and my husband. I am glad we got to meet you.” Luna Liliana said.

“I saw outside that you had a beautiful garden. Would I be allowed to explore it?” I asked.

“Of course, we have a study, a library, and we have lots of games and entertainment for young kids and teenagers. Maybe we can have Damon escort you around.” Luna Liliana said.

“I don’t think that is a good idea. Damon seemed annoyed at me. And I honestly don’t know why.” I told them.

“Oh, I think we know.” Alpha Lincoln said.

“Lincoln, we shouldn’t get involved.” Luna Liliana said.

“I’m sorry, I don’t mean to get you into trouble.” I told them.

“Oh Karla, you aren’t. Liliana she doesn’t know. She deserves to know. So if they yell, I will tell them that it’s on me. But if we don’t tell them we told her, then they won’t find out.” Alpha Lincoln said.
