Chapter 5

She nodded her head with her eyebrow raised still.

“Lets walk out of here in case someone can hear us.” I suggested.

She nodded at me and smiled. We walked out of the school and behind the trees towards a clearing so no one could see us. We sat down in the open area and I looked at her.

“Why do you not respond to people talking?” I asked.

She grabbed her pen and a book out to write her answers.

“Because of a few reasons, one would be that I get to learn about people and their intentions easily. Like I learn if they plan to hurt me or someone else I know.” She wrote her reply.

“Well, can I ask if you talk?” I asked her.

“Yes, we are talking now.” She wrote.

I laughed as she had a big smile because of her answer.

“Well I meant verbally, smart ass.” I replied with a small laugh.

“I haven’t spoken in three years. I won’t speak any time soon.” She had replied.

“I hope you don’t get annoyed at me asking you this again like earlier during lunch. But what is your name?” I asked her again.

“My answer is the same, I don’t want to tell anyone my name.” She wrote back.

I could see her face getting sad.

“Well if you decide to ever tell me your name, I promise to keep it a secret.” I told her reassuringly.

She smiled at me again and I couldn’t help but feel drawn to her.

“I need to ask, why is Alistair angry with you?” I asked her curiously.

She looked at me confused.

“Alistair is the man that yelled at me before.” I said.

She started writing.

“I think he is my mate and regretting that I was made his mate.” She wrote down.

I looked at her. My eyes focused for a minute. Then she started to write down again.

“Can you keep me a secret?” She wrote

“Yes I will keep you a secret.” I told her.

“Have you decided on a name yet?” I asked.

“Maybe Lina or Mary? How about you can decide.” She wrote down.

“Well what do the teachers call you?” I asked.

“They were instructed to not use a name until I decided.” She wrote.

“Okay well lets talk about it and lets get out of here, some fresh air and clear our head.” I suggested.

She smiled and nodded. We walked outside and went through to the edge of the school grounds and walked around them for ages. We were that distracted talking and writing that it ended up getting late. School was released nearly three hours ago. We climbed high in a tree before school finished to avoid everyone so we could talk. And we stayed quiet while they walked through to their packs. we were having so much fun and surprisingly our really good hearing didn’t let us hear the pre warning of thunder. The rain didn’t show, but after such a long time, which felt like not long at all. The sun was already coming out again. But then that’s when I lost my self control. It had started raining and I got caught up in the moment. This beautiful girl, who definitely needs someone to be there. Had made me so happy and content while learning about each other. But with the rain and the moment, the girl smiled and looked at my lips for a moment. I caught the quick look and leaned towards her. I kissed her in the rain up high in the tree. I realised I did and I pulled back. But she didn’t stop me, when our lips touched, she kissed me as well. Did she want it. Staring at her beautiful face I see her smile and look away. She looks she is blushing.
