“Well can you at least write it if they aren’t allowed to hear it?” I asked.
I got the idea from Aurora and I writing yesterday.
“I mean I could but it would be hard to explain. I will just discuss everything with you at the pack office soon.” Rebecca said.
“You have an agreement. I will see you there. First I want to get Alistair checked out and wounds cleaned before he heals. Then I want to check on Karla with Damon.” Luna Liliana said.
There was no sense of sympathy in Luna Liliana’s tone.
Rebecca went through the hospital doors and came back out with a doctor and a bed. Then she went out back and came out with another bed and a bag on it.
“Alistair I will be here for you.” Called Luna Liliana.
“I am so sorry you got hurt son.” Alpha Lincoln said sadly.
Alistair was gestured to sit on the bed and the doctor wheeled him into the back to work on him.
Rebecca bagged the body of Tabitha and needed a little help lifting the bag onto the bed so I helped her. Then she wheeled the bed out and came back to start mopping. Most of the wolves had gone to do what they needed to do but then we just had to wait to hear about Aurora. Rebecca finished cleaning the whole blood and then went to wash up. She came out after fifteen minutes to tell us what she also found out.
“Luna Liliana, Karla is still being operated on. We have some photo graphic evidence of her wounds in case it was to be evidence in a charge. But she has been getting all wounds cleaned thoroughly. The doctor has said that some wounds punctured into her skin and has bitten some organs so they are trying to repair the inside which means they placed a bit of a silver stick into her to freeze the healing process. She has been on a blood bag to get new blood into her system. She did lose quite a lot. And there are a few abnormalities which is needed to be discussed privately. But Alistair may need to stay for a night or two. The vein was severed in his wrist and the doctor has to leave his wrist open to ensure the vein heals and joins up correctly. But the shoulder and arm has been stitched. If the vein doesn’t heal, then the doctor is looking at more surgery and possibly removing the wrist as loss of blood flow will be in the wrist causing constant pain. The doctor has asked that no one visit Alistair while his wrist is open to lower the chance of infection. But if you will kindly be a bit more patient, Karla should be finished in surgery within the next few hours. But they said they wouldn’t allow visitors until she started healing in her deep wounds.” Rebecca said as she looked scared.
“That’s alright but can you tell Alistair that as soon as we are allowed, we will see him.” Luna Liliana said when she pretended to ask.
“Yes Luna Liliana.” Rebecca replied.
“The minute Karla is out of surgery and able to see someone, can you give us a call so we can come and speak to her?” Alpha Lincoln asked.
“Of course Alpha Lincoln.” Rebecca said.
“If it’s alright with you Rebecca, I would like to wait until I can see Karla.” I said.
“Of course. I will let you know as soon as available. Luna Liliana, Alpha Lincoln, would you kindly please meet me at the office soon. We could discuss the abnormalities. I just need to get some paperwork to bring over there.” Rebecca said.
“We will meet you there.” Alpha Lincoln said as he ran off in his shifted form.
“Luna Liliana, can you let me know what you find out?” I asked.
“Why don’t you come with us? She will be a while still.” Luna Liliana offered.
I nodded and walked with Luna Liliana to the pack house office. We walked in silence and remained that was. Alpha Lincoln had his shirt inside out.
“Oh Darling, you put your shirt on wrong.” Luna Liliana said.
“Oh well. I was in a hurry. They said another Alpha tried calling so I had to rush to the phone.” Alpha Lincoln said.
There was a slight knock on the door.
“Come in.” Alpha Lincoln said.
Rebecca walked in with a couple of manilla folders.
“Alpha, Luna, we may have an issue.” Rebecca said.
She paused to take a breath but Luna spoke up.
“What do you mean?” Luna Liliana asked.
“Sit down please.” Alpha Lincoln said.
“Thank you. What I mean is, we ran DNA tests on the bite barks that are in the injuries of Karla. There were four attackers. But one of the attackers, has different DNA. It is related to the first pack. The Alpha before the divide. Our records state the only one possible for the attack is Alistair, as the other packs have none of age that are able to shift yet.” Rebecca said.
“Wait Alistair was talking to me, he couldn’t have done it.” I said surprised.
“I am sorry but that can’t be possible.” Rebecca stated.
“Show us the paperwork.” Alpha Lincoln said.
