Chapter 7

“Kelsey sounds like a puppy name.” she joked. “Woof.” I said jokingly like an i***t. She laughed so hard, that she nearly fell out of the tree. “Can I ask you one question Aurora?” I asked her. “Yes Damon.” She replied “Can I kiss you once more?” I asked. She smiled and bit her bottom lip as she looked away. Damn that was affecting me. “How about yes, because I am single. He never asked me out or rejected me. So he may not be my mate. But the answer is yes to the kiss.” She replied. Damn this technical goddess in front of me. I leaned forward to kiss her. She leaned closer and we did a proper kiss. We kept kissing as the rain kept falling on us. I leaned closer to her to the point where she had the tree behind her as well, I wrapped my arm around her and I kept kissing her. I could tell she was into it. I was growing and aching for her but I promised myself nothing more than kissing. I kept kissing her in the tree and felt her hands go to my back to help hold her up so she didn’t fall as the gave in to the kisses. Through the rain I could smell her arousal. I went to kiss her neck but she panicked and pushed away. I was about to ask if she was okay but she jumped out of the tree and landed on her feet then ran away. What did I do? I kept asking myself. I grabbed our bags and ran home to shower quickly. As soon as I was in my room, Alistair was in there waiting for me. “Did you screw her?” He asked.         Alistair.   I realised Damon never came to class. I was really out of line. I shouldn’t have threatened him but I was angry. I planned to talk to him at our next class but he also didn’t attend. I told myself that I would not think anything of it. He probably came home. I finished school and went home with my pack. But there was an issue, My dad and his dad were waiting for us.   “Where is Damon?” Asked my dad. “Isn’t he here? We had a disagreement and he hasn’t attended class since. I thought he came here.” I told them. “It’s okay Alpha, Damon can take care of himself.” Damon’s dad said. “You’re meant to be his Alpha! You are supposed to be responsible for him!” my dad shouted. “I’m Sorry! I lost my cool when I met my mate.” I cried to my dad. “Your mate?” my dad asked. “She is this deaf girl that shows no qualities that a Luna is meant to have and I have no attraction towards her at all. I have to reject her, but before I planned to, I asked him to find out about her and he refused to share anything he learned.” I explained. “Wait is she new?” My dad and Damon’s dad asked at the same time. “Yeah, she started today. Why?” I asked. “The principal asked us Alpha’s and Beta’s to come in today, we met that girl. The principal told us about how she won’t be talking much but how she wanted our permission to join the school. She isn’t part of a pack  Alistair. She is hiding from a violent family member and so she doesn’t want her name known. The principal told us she is thinking of a fake name to use. Her life is unsafe if she uses her name in case her uncle finds her.” Dad explained. “She’s hiding here?” I asked.
