ALICE...

His sudden voice broke my trance.. "Huh!?" I looked at him in confusion "what is it?"

"we have reached Alice, what are you thinking!?" He asked me, looking amused..

I shook my head "no, nothing.. Let's go.."

Currently I am lying down on my bed.. It's 12 p.m at noon.. My boss give me a day off for today because of my cooperation last night.. And frankly speaking I am liking this vacation.. I needed this so very much..

But somehow director's changed behaviour is unusual and truth to be told kind of scary too.. Maybe, it would be changed tomorrow and the arrogant Shane Davies would be back, who knows?

Next morning, Alice went to work as usual.. She did her regular routine in Shane's office and was about to get out, he entered that moment.. "Good Morning, Director" Alice greeted without any expectations..

But what he did next shocked her.. "Good Morning.." He greeted back and flashed her a smile..

Alice smiled back politely, hiding her shocking expression.. With a low bow she was going to walk out of his office and again stopped by him "Miss Wilkinson?" He called her..

She turned to him "anything else, director?"

Shane nodded his head with a smile "did you have your breakfast?" He asked while seating on the chair..

Getting shock after shock Alice didn't know what to do.. but, somehow she managed to keep her professionalism "yes Director, I did.."

Shane nodded, "okay, you can go back to work.." After bowing him again, Alice went back to her office..

Shane's eyes glued on the door.. She's looking so beautiful in her black office attire.. Shane knew she is surprised with his behaviour.. But, he doesn't care.. He would behave well and respect her from now on..

On the other hand, Closing the room, Alice finally let go of her holding breath.. 'What was that!? What's wrong with him!? Wait... Does he have any plan this time? As far as I know him, Shane Davies is not someone who would let go of things easily.. I think he is making new plans! But what was that!?'

"Oh God! This is another headache now! Uff.." She was frustrated..

A whole month passed and Alice still couldn't get used to Shane's behaviour.. Though she accepted the fact that he would not torture her anymore but still she felt it awkward.. Even Leonard is also surprised seeing his brother's behaviour..

Shane was seating on the couch of his favourite club, with a glass of wine in one hand.. Thinking about the girl who has captured his whole mind and soul..

Yes, Shane has started liking Alice.. She is so amazing in every aspect.. She is hard working and made her appearance strong in the corporate world.. He can easily ask her to lead the team..

And she is caring and a thoughtful woman.. Sometimes, Shane felt she does not belongs to any average family.. She is so simple but extremely gorgeous, exactly like a royal woman..

She never tried to take advantage of his behaviour towards her.. And there is one more thing, He never known why but he actually thinks that Alice's name doesn't suit her! He knew it's crazy to think like that.. But from the very first day he couldn't find any similarities between her and her name.. It's funny, right?

"Penny for your thoughts Davies?" A sudden voice broke his trance..

Shane looked at the person, it's Ezkeill Santiago, his childhood friend and a self made billionaire.. "When did you come?" Shane asked, surprised..

Ezkeill smirked "when you were busy thinking about a hot cheek. "

"Shut up, moron" Shane replied with a smirk too..

"Huh!? Tell me I am wrong? I am sure I am not.." He paused, taking a sip of his wine he said again "what? couldn't get over the f**k last night?" Smirk didn't left his face..

Shane shook his head "I am Shane Davies, woman can't get over me, not the other way.. Moreover, it's not like that.. It's just I think I like her.."

Ezkeill was surprised.. He was just joking, he didn't thought it could be real.. He leaned forward in a serious manner "you have fallen in love?!" He asked seriously..

Shane looked at unknown while shaking his head in negative "I don't know, what is it.. But, there is something.. She has some affects on me I think.."

Ezkeill nodded "did you sleep with her?" He asked all of a sudden..

"No, I didn't.." Shane denied.. "I didn't do anything with her.."

Ezkeill was silent for few moments, then spoke "Well, it can be only your lust over her.. Once you sleep with her and your attraction can be deemed, like me and Sofia.."

"I don't know dude, but one thing's sure, I am attracted towards her.. She is different.. Very different from others.."

"Then ask her to sleep with you, then you will know about your true feelings.." Ezkeill suggested..

"Haha, then she would break me like my sound box.." Shane laughed while imagining about the scene..

But, it caught Ezkeill's Attention.. "Sound box!? Wait.. You mean that girl!? Your assistant!?" He was surprised.. Shane never hides anything from Ezkeill.. Both friends share everything with each other..

Shane nodded "yes, she is.. Alice Wilkinson.."

"But, you have a rule not to mix business with pleasure, right? And you always maintain your rule with great efforts.. You even stopped hiring female assistants for this!"

"I know I made this rule.. But, I couldn't control myself from falling for her charm.. Interesting thing is, she never tried to do any inappropriate things in front of me nor tried to take any kind of advantage.. Always putting on a poker face and do her assigned works only.. Still, she caught my eyes.. She captured my mind.." He sighed "and I can't even sleep with other women's now, the only face is always bothering me is her's.."
