it's Monday morning 🤒🤒🤒
and I'm not really having a good day
the whole house is dried, nothing in my refrigerator not even a mere cooking ingredient do I have
the baby is kicking hard .... I'm afraid he hates me already.
I know I might not really find a job but I have to try, soooo, I'm going out in search of a job
I started my job search from the cafes down the street.... but no job yet
but I've decided that I won't give up, for the sake of I and my unborn child

for the past six (6) hours I have been on the search for a job but no one seems to be ready to offer a pregnant lady that can deliver any time soon, and just when I was in despair and starting to lose hope, some man approved me
"I've been observing you ....are you okay"
he asked
"not really, I'm looking for a job but no one is ready to employ a pregnant lady" "so you give up"
I didn't answer I just gave him a look
"I don't know but something tells me to take you to my boss.....he might employ you" he said to me with an ensure look
"really!"
"naaa I'm not sure, he isn't really a kind man at heart" my face fell at once
" and I don't want to stress you, considering your condition" he gave a sad look
"no no I'm ready to try, please take me to him " I immediately got on my knees
"please don't do that ma'am". he helped me stand
"I want to give it a try please " I begged desperately
"fine but I came to get him something to eat you'll have to wait.... when I'm done, we will go there together " he finally agreed
" yes yes....thank you so much " I know I might not get the job, but I was still overjoyed

(knock knock)
"come in"
I heard a cold voice instruct, I'm starting to get scared my knees are even shaking I slowly opened the door making sure to show no sign of weakness for fear that I might not get the job
I slowly put the fast food on His desk ..he didn't even bother to look up from his laptop, I stole a glance at his handsome face before shyly looking at my foot.
Charles POV
her voice, there's something about it, except for the fact that she's not Williams the one who's supposed to deliver my food
"why is it you?" I asked still composed and focused on work
"me??" she was taking aback before
"well....my name is Alice Smith, I studied production management" while she was talking I finally saw who was before me, it's her , the one I've been looking for
"you !" I exclaimed
"sir" she shut up , I guess she thought I was scolding her, it looks like she doesn't recognise me, and her tummy is that my child, does she really not recognise me or what
"sir please, I'll take any position you give to me...."
"you've got the job" I cut her short before she could finish
"what" she exclaimed
"yes.... when can you start?" I asked my mood lighter upon seeing her smile
"when can you start " I asked
"tomorrow sir " she rejoiced
"okay , drop your contact , we will contact you later in the day" I smiled
"yes sir....thank you sir " after that she left .....
"sir you sent for me" Williams came in
but before I could say anything he started again
" it's not my fault sir ....she was begging me to take her to my boss even when I refused she really looked helpless " he explained
" it's okay, you did a good thing " I assured
"really 😲 you gave her a job....so it's true " he exclaimed totally shocked
"send her number to me later" I instructed
" yes sir"
"and find out every thing about that girl, including about her personal life....I want to know about her in and out" I added
" yes sir" he answered and left.

I got the job!!!!
I'm so happy, I'm sure the boss is really kind, he even smiled at me 😁
I lay flat on my bed
I guess I could manage till tomorrow, I won't die if i don't eat .
not even a call from my so called husband, he somehow managed to win me in court and now he's in possession of all my properties and money , why am I so ill fated
The door bell rang , I sluggishly went to get the door but immediately I opened up, I regretted heavily
" you still haven't paid your rent Mr's Alice " he stormed
"I know sir please..... give me a month sir" I pleaded
" even if I give you a month....how will you pay" he stormed once
