Chapter 5: The Royal Ball

"There is only one happiness in this life, to love and to be loved.That was always something that I heard from my mother" the queen said, as she was helping Brie and Natie get ready for the ball. She was trying to make the girls feel better about everything in hopes that the girls would fall instantly head over heels in love with the two warlock sons. Brie and Natie looked at their mother as the words entered their ears. "Momma." Brie said, looking intently at their momma, " we are not fully into this, but we are willing to give anything a try to save our kingdom from the curse." Natie shaked her head in agreement, but was not fully paying attention because she spotted a man in the hallway outside of their door. He was the most handsome man she had ever seen and hoped she would be able to meet him later at the ball. While they knew everyone in attendance at the ball minus the two men who would be joining the ball for them to talk to and meet, and who their mother hoped they would fall in love with. They still loved talking to and getting better acquainted with the villagers and ladies and men in the kingdom. She then looked at Brie and said, "Hey sis wanna take a small walk with me in the castle before the ball I mean we are both dressed and ready for the ball you in your beautiful yellow dress and me in my pretty peach colored one." Of course, Brie agreed and they both started walking and Natie said "sissy can I tell you a secret?" Brie replied, " yea" and She said, "I think I saw one of the warlocks and he is extremely handsome, I think we will fall hard for them if their attitudes are anything like their looks. Brie just looked at her sister then they went down towards the ballroom to join the party that just started. As the night began the girls were enjoying themselves and talking to their friends when their mother and father interrupted them accompanied by two handsome men. Their mother smiled and said, "darlings these are the two young men I was telling you about, Damian and Dominique." the girls curtsied and smiled as their mother and father walked away to go dance.
