I shook my head vigorously, I refused to believe what she just said, I believed that there is a misunderstanding somewhere, I started pacing back and forth, my heartbeat changed and many thoughts ran through my mind, I couldn't comprehend what was happening and I needed time to understand what was happening.
then I started walking toward her, my eyes were blazing with something more intense, but she didn't flinch or even moved, she stood her ground which was a surprise to me.
I can't really comprehend what was happening and I tried so hard to ignore the feeling of betrayal that dawned on me, it made me feel both helpless and intimidated, there was that need to do something or at least say something.
