Lucius POV
I was shocked for a moment, I couldn't comprehend why everything was happening the way it was, I kept quiet while trying to keep calm, a silent cry made me swallow a huge lump in my throat, I stared at her bloodied face and it made me feel even more frustrated, I felt so helpless and even angrier at myself, I hated myself at that moment and I just wished that I could do better.
I clenched my fist Into a tight Ball and wondered who could have possibly done that.
" Lucius..." she called my name gently. just the sound of her name on her lips made me guard down, I hate to admit it, but I'm already coming to terms with the reality, this is something I just have to accept.
