Maria's POV
The weather was not friendly at all. I had to take the things that were outside inside the house, I looked up at the sky as the rain began to drop.
I stayed in a house that was nothing compared to the house that was burnt down. I was given this place to stay by one of David's friends who happens to be generous in his ways. It disgusted me that he would think such a thing.
He does come to our house to see David and now he is thinking of something that I would have sworn that he would never do.
I had to beg him for the house, telling him that I would attend to him later which I have not done. If he pressed further and made a big deal out of it, I might give in to him.
