Patrick's POV
I came out of the room and saw her sitting down, she was eating. I got out of the house.
Before I knew what was going on, she was behind me.
“ What is it that you want?” I faced her.
“ You do not have to act that way in public. People are going to see you treating me like this and it is disrespectful. Just treat me well so no one suspects anything, "she explained.
I was not having it. I nodded my head at her. She slipped her hands into mine.
“ Look at that” She smiled as she pointed at the little peacock that showed itself.
I was not interested in anything she had to show me but I had to turn and return her smile.
I could hear the side talks from people that we passed. They whispered amongst themselves how caring I was to her and how lucky she was to have me.
