My heart was beating fast as I waited for the host to complete his sentence. Some people were already cheering my name as soon as Patrick was mentioned.
Our relationship is not private so literally everyone in our town knows that we are together. At first I was strictly against publicizing our relationship but Patrick said he wanted everyone to know that I am his.
