“Yes, in Whitby, in Yorkshire, I remember you telling me.”
“That's right. Although Alex and I are the last remaining members of my family, those business interests in England are still in our family's possession. We are in fact quite well-off financially, as a result. In order to administer those interests we employ an old established firm of solicitors in London, and over the years they have shrewdly advised us on various investments and apart from anything else, we were fortunate some time ago to acquire a large shareholding in The Daily Gazette
