SERENE’S POV
A day had passed since Stefan and I last saw each other, but I still couldn't bring myself to talk to Hera. When I joined her in Lockwood Village, that's when I found out that she was going through tough times too. Adding to that, she already had two children, so I didn't know how to tell her that I had found another job.
I was cooking when my cellphone rang. It was Hera, so I glanced at the twins playing in the living room, visible from the kitchen area.
"Hello, Serene, can you bring the two kids to Media Generations now?" She said immediately, and based on her tone, it seemed like I had no choice but to follow her request.
"Sure, now?" I asked.
"Yes, please. I'll wait for you in the lobby, so you won't have trouble getting in," she said before finally ending the call.
