SERENE’S POV
When Hera left, I immediately called Kristine. The two kids were asleep, giving me a chance to call my friend.
"Hello, Tin?"
"Oh, how are you? Have you talked to my cousin's employer?" She asked eagerly.
"Well, I'm fine. And yeah, I talked to her, and actually, I'm at their place now," I replied.
"How's it going?"
"It's okay. You didn't tell me that Hera Campbell was your cousin's former employer."
"Really? I didn't know Hera was her employer. She just called me out of the blue because her employer was desperate to find a replacement, and it happened that you also wanted to go somewhere else," she explained.
The truth is, I don't know if I should tell her about what happened between Stefan and me. Until now, I hadn't forgotten every scene that unfolded between us.
