SERENE’S POV
"Okay, let's have a drink later. It's better if you stay here in the office for a while to get familiar with things," Stefan suggested.
As agreed, I spent the whole day in his office, reviewing the medical terms I had forgotten.
"Stefan, do you know of any place I can rent near the hospital? I don't have anywhere else to stay once I leave Hera," I asked him. He looked at me and pondered for a moment.
He was also busy reading charts in front of him, seemingly studying some cases. It appeared to be a serious matter because there were numerous MRI and CT scan results scattered on his table. He was wearing glasses—a detail I hadn't anticipated.
"I'll think about it," he replied, leaving me puzzled. He looked back at what he was reading.
