Epilogue

263 Words
I can't say that everything was easy. Yong Ho returned to Korea to settle unfinished matters. The relationship with his fiancé had already ended when he heard about my supposed illness, and he had decided to come to Italy for an indefinite period. Jin had taken the initiative and shared parts of our story with Bo Hin, making him promise to support us. The other band members were quite surprised when he told them everything. Some supported him after hearing the story, while others were more reserved, and he even got into fight with one of them. He returned to Italy when I was twenty-eight weeks pregnant. It wasn’t easy for him to handle all the paperwork in such a short time, but I already had him with me. The following months were a paradise, and I managed to feel happy and fulfilled. I had the certainty that life was smiling at me again, giving me the chance to love, be loved and be happy again. Our son came into this world on January 7th. We were surrounded by everyone important to us - my family, Yong Ho's family, my friends, Jin, the band members who had eventually come to accept our relationship over time, and of course our neighbors who had become a part of our lives. We decided to name him Mi Joon in honor of Joonie, because, without him, our paths wouldn’t have crossed, and our story wouldn’t have happened. I continue to writhe notebooks filled with my thoughts, feeling and experiences. Someday, I’ll tell you another story. The end.
