CHAPTER 2

Ariana's pov

Before going home I decided stop at this famous little restaurant my mom kept on telling me about.

Apparently they have this amazing chocolate ganache cake and as for their hamburgers it's absolutely devine so I wanted too try it out for myself and decide.

As I step into the restaurant a waiter walks up to me and warmly greets me, "Hi there can I get you a seat?"

Yeah...UHM sure.

Alright then follow me, she said.

I followed the waiter. After getting me seat which was difficult since this place is a little packed, she then gave me the menu.

I wasn't sure what to choose

so I kept on staring at the menu, deciding what I want to eat.

A few minutes went by the waiter stopped at my table, are you ready with your order miss?

I sigh. I'm not sure what to pick, I spoke glancing at the menu.

To be honest I wanted to try each and every item that was on the menu.

I'll have one of your guys famous hamburgers with fries and to go with it I'll have a chocolate milkshake.

You've made an excellent choice our hamburgers are to die for, once you've tasted it you're definitely going to return for more.

Oh that I'm sure I will.

The waiter is about to leave, I quickly stop her, there's one more thing I'd like to order.

Sure what would you like Miss?

I'd like to also to add in the chocolate ganache cake.

Okay is there anything else you'd like to order?

UHM.......... Nah I think that's it for now.

Awesome your order will be done in on around twenty to thirty minutes.

My pleasure Miss.

The waiter arrived with my food, she was precise about the time. She places the food onto the table, the aroma of the food invades my nostrils causing my stomach to growl.

As soon as the waiter leaves, I dig in and moan a little to loudly.

Everyone stares at me weirdly, I ignore them and continue devouring down the hamburger.

Anna?, a husky voice called out.

I glance up to meet a pair or hazel brown eyes.

"Ryker!", I squealed and dropped my food onto the plate and woke up to hug him.

I embrace him in a tight hug.

"Oh" I've missed you so much you have no idea.

Me too my angel.

I then noticed how everyone is staring, I quickly let go of him and get return to my seat, I continue devouring my hamburger.

"What are you doing here Ryker?"

And how did you even know I was here?,

I asked with my mouth being stuffed.

He stares at me and chuckles.

What?, I asked.

He shakes his head, Nothing it's just that I've missed you a lot so that's the reason I'm here and I've been following you for sometime now.

You were stalking me? but why?

I just wanted t see you, I couldn't stay without you.

you being away from me was literally driving me insane.

Ryker's my boyfriend, we've been dating for almost two years.

He's an incredible guy with an absolute amazing personality and also not forgetting how insanely gorgeous he is.

I think I'm lucky to have him in my life.

He's always been there for me whenever I needed him, always supporting me in whatever decisions I made basically he's the only person I trust.

I'm glad you're here Ryker however I'm mad at you for stalking me like some creep, I giggled.

"So how are things at your new home?", he asked stealing fries from my plate.

I sigh. A little awkward, I don't really feel like it's home, I feel as if I'm a stranger.

Ryker grabs my hand, I'm sorry angel I just wish that you will reconsider moving in with me.

"I can't, it's impossible and you know that!"

"Yeah I know", he mumbled.

Since last year Ryker's been constantly pestering me to live with him.

How long are you going to be in town?, I inquired as I now began to

chomp down on the cake.

Until you decide to move in with me.

"it's not going to happen at least not anytime soon!"

"I can wait as long as it takes for you to change your mind!"

I have to go, it's getting late, I told getting up from the table.

I pulled out my purse to pay the bill, No please allow me to pay for it, Ryker requested.

It's fine I can pay for it myself, I insisted.

No I will, it's on me.

"Fine then", I sighed.

hmmm...... are you free tomorrow?

I think so why what do you have in mind?

"It's a surprise"

I'll text you the time and place.

Alright then I guess I'll see you tomorrow.

As I step outside and was about to walk to my car that's in the parking lot, I'm suddenly being pulled and shoved against a hard chest.

From the scent of the person's perfume I know who it is.

Ryker smirks at me, "I couldn't leave without receiving a goodbye kiss, I've missed you Anna, missed us spending time together, he stated gazing into my eyes.

I tug onto the collar of his shirt and pull him in for a searing kiss. A moment later we both brake away from the kiss, I love you Anna, Ryker mutters under his breath.

I love you too, I replied placing a kiss on his forehead.

He slowly let's go of me.

"I think you should head home"

I wouldn't want you to get into any sort of trouble because of me

Bye Ryker, I waved as I walked off to my car.

I've reached home now, I park my car into the garage and grab my bag.

I stride towards the house and push open the door.

As I enter I don't see anyone around.

I quickly run up to my bedroom and lock the door just incase my annoying siblings barge in.

I have a quick shower and change onto my pajamas.

I lay on my bed and soon fall asleep due to exhaustion.

I wake up when I hear my mom yelling at my bedroom door, "Anna get up!"

coming mom!, I yelled.

I unlocked the door and open it, mom enters with a tray of food in her hand.

"You haven't come down for dinner so I brought you something to eat"

Thanks mom but I'm not hungry. I've been to that little restaurant you were boasting about.

"You did?"

Yeah I did, the food was amazing just like you had mentioned.

That's wonderful perhaps you and I should go out and have lunch there and thereafter spend some quality time together catching up, what do you say?

I'd like that, I responded.

So how was your day at campus?

Well it was awesome everyone seemed different around here, nobody bullied me or mocked at me, they were nice to me.

I'm glad you enjoyed your first day anyway goodnight sweetheart, I have this meeting to attend with your father.

Okay goodnight mom, see you tomorrow.

She pecked me on my cheek and headed out leaving the tray of food behind.

My mouth watered as I eyed the piece of cheesecake.

I guess I'm certainly hungry after seeing that.
