Schinx took Aiden

1332 Words
The cult tossed bandages to Schinx according to Aiden's orders and Schinx cleaned himself. Aiden had heard him speak about his origin, about a past which seemed to be a long time ago, about the present and the treat in it and he chose to keep all unless the cult runoff. All to him was a depiction of insecurity and he held his tales with scepticism. "Lads, I don't know how much you have seen and know of this forest, but there is a lot that can be revealed regardless of what you have seen. This forest was my yard, this forest is my yard," Schinx said. "Cut it! You asked for help, we offered, and now we're leaving. No one is waiting behind to hear the godforsaken tales you promised. And about this place being your yard, you're mistaken," Michelle said and Schinx chuckled. "I meant it, lad, the world has never been safe but now it is too unsafe than it had been. You should wait to hear and get it all. You need it," Schinx said. Aiden knew the message was for him and he huffed. "You're all Greek to us. We don't know a thing and still, we did our best to keep you alive. You don't expect us to wait around and clean you up, sure you don't," Luke blurted. "Aiden, I promised you tales. But there needs to be a sight to believe. If I begin with the tales you will laugh it out. But when you see, you believe," Schinx stood to his feet and staggered as he rested his back on the tree that had been his support all along. Aiden had an optic grasp of his face and he could see that Schinx had wrinkles. He saw that his chin bones were protruded and that his face lacked flesh. "This, as I said, was my yard 437 years ago." "f**k it!" Jacob hurled. "I knew it's coming here. Scam! I am not buying it," he concluded and began to walk away. "You've seen this forest. You have seen the trees and you have seen the roofs. How is it that there is a space within these seven trees?. How is it that the trees here didn't converge at the top to conceal the sky from giving us light from the moon? Why does nothing grow in between these trees? This was my yard 437 years ago. I planted these trees with the help of sorcery! Don't you see? They never die, they won't. They are alive, they have been waiting for me. There is a lot that has happened, a lot is happening, and a lot will happen and you can't choose to not be a part of it. You already are," Schick said. "Listen, I don't know s**t about what you're talking about and I don't what to know," Jason said and stepped forward. Jacob had paused when Schinx began speaking. "I just am not a part of it and I will never be." "Youths! They never change. They always will not know and still act like they don't want to. Aiden, you know these make sense, don't you? When I sniffed to see if you're a pack a sniffed that you're not. But that you, Aiden, was born for this. You need the truth before it eats you up. Evil is rising, and people like you will be the meal first, people like you who are made to be repellent and hard to resist the evil but had been softened by nature. This is my yard, and my cave is somewhere here. There you'll see, there you'll believe," he said and turned. "Aiden, he is in your head, don't let him spin you into foolishness. We have to go now," Ix held his hand as she talked. "I must see it," Aiden said. "What?" Rebecca interjected. "Oh common. He's a total stranger," Luke said. "Whatever he needs to show, I must see it," Aiden added. "I can only sense evil in him," Michelle said. Aiden nodded and stepped forward. Schinx had walked some yards and Aiden's eyes were set on him. If it were Ix that had sensed the evil, he would surely change his mind. Again, he looked back at Ix and saw the indecision on her face. "I have to," he said and ran towards Schinx. "You should consider…" Luke said and paused. Aiden walked on, listening for steps behind him and hoped that they followed. He heard one and his mind proposed a hunch -- Ix. He turned back and he was right, Ix had caught up. Together they walked on, with Schinx before them. Then, scanty footsteps approached and together they turned to see the cult behind them. Aiden was thankful and wished that they all saw his face that portrayed happiness. Happiness from the sole thought that he wasn't alone. Schinx approached a rocky mass and he wielded his hand around it. Aiden as well as the cult looked on as Schinx lifted it and placed it aside. A hole was revealed, and while Schinx clapped dust off his hand, Aiden peeped in. "Did he just," Rebecca said and paused. "I hid this, 437 years ago…" "There he goes again. Four-thirty-seven as though he talks about last year," Jason cut in. "In here is the answer to all your questions," Schinx said and they all stared. Aiden sighed, he wanted to state his claim about not stepping in as fear had made him doubt. As he prepared to speak, Schinx zoomed beside him and held his waist. "Aiden!" "Let his go, now." "Oh my God, he's got Aiden." "I knew it." "I said it." "Help. Somebody, help." The cult cried and as they watched helplessly, Aiden struggling, he leapt and descended into the hole, together with Aiden. It all happened fast, or perhaps, the base of the hole was close to the surface and Aiden felt his feet on the floor before he zoomed in again. All the while, Schinx's hand was wrapped around him and when he struggled, he felt as though he was contesting with a rock, Schinx was without a soft part, all sturdy. Suddenly, he felt free and he immediately turned to face the direction he presumed Schinx would be. He heard a spark and a faint light illuminated the place he was. Another came from his right flank and he saw Schinx holding on to the source of light, one he hadn't seen. Aiden palpitated atypically and took a defensive stance against Schinx. "Listen, Aiden. Your friends are in the hole already. I can feel them. We have little time," Schinx said. "We? Well, damn you. There is no we," Aiden said and picked up a rocky mass with his both hands. A rock of the size of his skull. He hurled at Schinx and hit him on the head and then referred. As he exhaled audibly, he was bewildered to see Schinx still maintaining a healthy posture. "Wow. That was strong. I told you, I'm a werewolf," he said and wiped the blood that had seeped from his head with his hand. "I promised you tales, but it's best known when you're on the same scheme with me. The world needs you Aiden." Aiden retreated and stood behind a platform as Schinx walked close, he could sense the danger and that he was alone was even scarier. He watched Schinx disappear and saw the element of light on the floor. When he turned to search for him, he found him on his right side. When he attempted to hit him again with the rock, Schinx disappeared again. Just like the previous time, Aiden felt tough muscles around his waist, next, he felt pins around his neck. It wasn't pins. At that moment, he remembered that Schinx introduced himself to be a werewolf, given the fear, he passed out while Schinx teeth threatened to cut through his flesh at his back.
