Inspecting

Welqins walked about the event site with his eyes around, looking around and inspecting the presentations. It was his first chance to exhibit what he claimed to be when he was announced as the royal event planner. He stood and overhauled the chairs arranged in rows and columns, and also with a gap after the first 3 column which would be for the nobles, chiefs and then the Governor's. Whereas, the King's sit before them all, and then the chairman of the occasion which was Rews. Then he sighs and observed the two documents he was offered. The first was given by the King as the norm in all event but has to be redesigned by Welq, the other from Rews, which contains his selfish will, sent through Tozo. Which will be retired in such a way to proclaim the Rews power and new post. He was trying to connect the issue when he remembered his last night chat with Tozo. He had asked him "Tozo! What do you feel about me" he asked and watched Tozo huffs slightly as he dropped the utensils he planned on eating with.

"What propels such a question" Tozo asked, tapping the table into a rhythm.

"I just want to know. We had met and had became friends within 96 hours and here you are, in my house and eating dinner with me. Is this real" he asked.

"Believe what you see brother. Not what you think. I am here means I'm rendering the odds to nought as I would never to anyone else. As my Father would never allow. You're accepted in my family so right now, you're more than just an acquaintance" Tozo replied and smile back when Welq made a grumbling sound.

"Oh yes!" he exclaimed. "Let's play a game" he said and adjusted his sitting position.

"Are you in?" he asked and got a 'Yes' from Tozo.

"But it would be preceded by an oath. An oath which includes saying what's right, never to lie and never holding anything behind. Do you agree on this" he asked again and Tozo nods in affirment.

"Who really is your Father" Rews asked and loon elsewhere. He noticed Tozo's vitriolic look and and suddenly look back into his face and saw him struggling with bringing back his previous face.

"Apart from his name, his royal position, family background and all other physical features. Who is he and what has he done in the past" he asked and kept looking into his face.

"Everything you say tomorrow, written in this manuscript is him. What he's done and... It contains everything about him" Tozo said and delved in his satchel. He sighs deeply and brought out a written document. He gave a friendly smiled and presented it to him.

"Okay! You'll have to pardon me for my questions but I got to ask further"

"No!" Tozo exclaimed. "We take turns, now is mine" he said and Welq nods.

"Why do you plan on getting close to my family? I saw it, you didn't want to leave. My father ordererd you away after delivering the message from the King but you went ahead and talked further, teased him further. It's not just for promotion or getting something in return, is it?" Tozo asked and was surprised to see him smiling.

"You're right. It is not for getting something in return" he said and noticed Tozo's delirious state. He saw him leaning forward and holding up a gaze that prove he's all ears.

"I wanted you" he said and smeared through his sprouting moustache.

"We? How do you mean" Tozo asked quizically.

"You and your sisters. Do you forget so soon, I told you I really wanted to befriend you guys and would do anything to get you. Little was I astonished when the King sent me to your house. It was right as rain and a wish come true scene which I have to use my all in instigating the one who owns you, your father" he said and leaned back. After some minute of silence, he licked his lips as asked almost shouted.

"My turn! To prove the friendship you claimed to exist between us, who would you turn in to save me? Would you tell me even if someone close to you informs you of a destructive plan for me? Or if you find out by chance someone is trying to hurt me, no matter how close it is, would you advice me in order to save your friend?" he asked again and have Tozo been stuck in his thoughts. He looked into his eyes and smiled.

"It's been a long time since I've felt what I feel with you around me, maybe it's because of the fact that I was never allowed to mingle. You stirred a part of me which woul make me go through blades for you. Your friends are mine and so are you enemies. Anyone!" he shouted. And quickly added "My turn" which Welq accessed to be changing more from being a game.

"What do you think of Zoin, do you really... I mean do you intend to play around or... It's something real?" he asked and watched Welqins turning his face around.

"I've seen the way you look at her, I've seen how you smile at her and had noticed her response. I need to know!" he said and leaned back as well.

"All answers given weren't a hundred percent, but I'll make this. My affection toward her is completely way off base, regarding my assignment here. It's not something I should do as per what I'll do in less than twelve hours but I found myself loving her. To be realistic, it's complicated" he said and huffed greatly.

"Your turn" he said.

"Okay! I appreciate the fact that you answered my question with sincerity but what are you going to do in the next twelve hours?" he asked and notice Welq chewing on his tongue.

"Questions like that requires a practical answer. You'll see tomorrow, you'll know it and you'll feel it" he said and quickly added.

"And that's your question, here's mine. Do you have a girl in your heart?" he asked, changing the game from the heated one it was to one that made out a grin out of Tozo's face.

"Remember, the truth" Welq added.

"Okay, the truth! Yes, she live in a village closeby and..."

"Do you only hearted her or..." he grunts

"Or you guys are in it already?" Welq asked and watched Tozo's grin developing into giggles.

"We met on... That was on the first day of the week. Before we decided to stroll through the market and before we met you. She was theain reason we're out that day" he said.

"You haven't answer my question. I asked if you're in it already or just planning to be there?" he asked and Tozo laughed out.

"Okay! I told her, but..."

"But what?"

"She said she... That's the disheartening part, she said she's not ready for such" Tozo replied as his effervescence dissappears and was pale.

"She said all she could presently offer was friendship"

"And what did you say?" Welq asked.

"What else would I say? I told her it's okay..."

"What!" Welq accentuates.

"There another thing to say to get her elated, something convincing and captivating" Welq exclaimed and was now on his feet, walking to and fro and flouncing his move.

"Okay! Like what?" Tozo asked after staring for some moments.

"It's a thing I will like you to practise once I said it, you have to promise me you'll use it" he said and went back to his sit and faced him when Tozo replied with a nod.

"You tell her you have a lot of friends, that you're high on disqualifying some and sticking to the he best hundred. That you'll do all it takes to reduce them rather than adding up another one, and that you only need someone more than a best friend and that is her!

You point to her at this junction and stare back because she's going to stare" Welq said and leaned back while Tozo recites the words in his mind, he smiled at intervals and sometimes would look up to Welq and nod.

"Okay! I memorized them. But I can't see her until next month, that will be the buffet party for the nobles children" Tozo said and his pale face returned.

"No! Do it tomorrow. I know your father would have an eye on you as he wants safety for you guys but I have my plan. The geisha, choreography, musics and dances will take 105minutes, and I arranged them to display in the gap which will be between your Father's chair and where young nobles would sit. He's but goung to see you when you leave and when you return. At least an hour should be enough for you"

"Oh! It should, with the horse it fifteen minutes to and fro, it should be enough" Tozo said and smiled at Welq. He nods along and stare into his face, while Welq stares back, he could see his excitement fading, and all that remained was his quizical look.

"Is it that you've preparation this? I mean everything seemed to follow the part you've created inevitably, is that..." Tozo stammers.

"I just did it, I mean... Not that I really wanted it or had planned it that way but..."

"You're hiding something, there's more to that arrangement than meeting Filin, you have some ulterior motives behind" Tozo said in an agitated voice which got Welq unprepared. He bit his lower lip and folded his hands while searching for the right thing to say.

"Tozo!" he called out to get his attention.

"There's something I've never done since we sat to talk. And that is to lie. You're right, you've seen things hidden about me but not the whole picture. I arranged it that way because I have two things to do, first is to have some time with Zoin at the entertainment period. I think your Father is not going to like the view so I... I hope you'll like it" he replied.

"Another suspense isn't it?" Tozo asked.

"Yes! Related with what I'm going to do in the next twelve hours" Welq replied.

"Are you going to kiss my sister?" Tozo asked in a playful voice which Welq was suprised to see. He never would predict such face would be seen on him after harbouring such vindictive look earlier.

"Ah... Am afraid but we already did that"

"What! You mean it" Tozo asked and Welq smiled in reply.

"Man you got to be careful, she just eighteen" adding some tone to the numbers.

"And, where and when?"

"Fella! I'll tell you after you tell what Filin says tomorrow" he said and smiled at each other.

"Yaar! Let's eat!" Tozo exclaimed.
