once the shock of what just happened wore off, I went back to class. at the end of this day, we would get our targets and be driven to the nearest airport and then put on a flight. I decided to spend lunch in the library nobody comes in here so I wouldn't have to deal with anybody for now. after lunch we went back to our class and Gabriel was there with Vanessa Jonas and Jamie " hello everyone I'm here to hand out your targets listen carefully for your name and target". Cadion was sent to deal with some vampire in Seattle. Tiffani was being sent to scout this area where they believe fairies have been hiding. I didn't hear where she was being sent. Heather was being sent to trap some witch they found in California. and Brian was sent after a pack of were bears in the mountains of Oregon to take out the leader. I stopped paying attention once their names were called. I didn't care where the rest was sent. then my name came, and all hell broke loose. " Kayla, you're going to Troy Montana to take out Alpha zane." My mom screamed at him, " are you crazy?" Everyone jumped out of their seats and were yelling he was the most feared alpha in the east of the states. " I don't know why you are all going crazy you know he's just doing this because he's hoping alpha zane will kill me before I can kill him so don't worry Cadion I'm sure you'll get your chance at him". everyone looked to Gabriel, waiting for him to deny what I was saying when he didn't it was all I needed to hear.

at home I started packing a bag I took some clothes a couple pairs of shoes and a picture of my mom. at least she showed she still loved me somewhat and my favorite stuffed animal. then made my way to the van that would take us to the airport. " you know you're never going to kill alpha zane and when you fail, I'll be the next in line to kill him". Cadion had wanted his chance to kill that alpha ever since Alpha zane had killed his father. there were no plans in my head about killing Zane but I am going to see if I can warn him the hunters are after him again.

Jonas drove us to the airport after the rest got out. I made my way to the door when Jonas stopped me. " I'm sorry you were Given this task out of spite, your dad is just a little messed up. I wanted to tell you good luck." Nodding my head, I got out and waved goodbye and ran to catch my flight. I will never see this place again. I can't help it, but I'm excited for what my future can be now. once I'm in my seat, I think about what I'm going to do when I get there. how am I going to find Zane and let him know the hunters are coming without getting myself killed. I have a few hours to think of a plan first things first I need to find a place to sleep. maybe I can find a job so i have funds to start my new life. I had just nodded off when the flight attendant tapped me. " Miss, we are going to start our descent. Please fasten your seat belt and prepare for landing". I have arrived.
