The noise of the charge and the dust it caused split through the once still afternoon like a hot knife in butter. If one had not been out earlier, one would never have known how it was once a cool and serene afternoon. An afternoon which was ideal for a picnic vacation. But right now, such was not the case.  It was instead a fizzling hot yard, filled with screams and grunts, galloping horses and trees churning down to their roots. The Horse neighed out in the charge of the Knights, although it was discordant now, the finery of what it had been now lost to the wind. The knights themselves had all lost their hopes in the first place, up until they had seen the Marshal of the Order still charging into danger.
