“What is happening?” I ask, looking from face to face at the Principals and Sir Mikal.
“Hoyoshi Mayura has escaped the town.” Yulia says to me, her eyes glued to the ground.
“Escaped? You mean, he travelled out?” I ask them because I do not understand what they mean by escaped. If I am right, this Hoyoshi Mayura must be the leading man of the Mayura noble family that has been funding all of these projects.
So, then again, why use the word ‘escaped’ like he was some common criminal when he had been funding us all along?
