Whew!
The view this morning is truly beautiful. Ah!
Honestly, looking down from your balcony and seeing the whole lot of your staff going about what they are supposed to do hits differently, believe me.
And no, I am not pompous. It just feels… right?
Yes, it feels right as I watch the Castle Guards move here and there, on patrols and stuff. Occasionally, I see a Vassal step into the guard house in his swordsmen makeshift armor and then exit with normal clothes on, a sign that the Vassal has completed his shift of duty.
I should probably find out, sometime who is in charge of these Vassals. I mean, they are Vassals, right but the armor they wear can be better fine tuned. I guess the only assurance of security that we all enjoy in this Castle is because of the presence of the Knights
