2. Galafean era

"CERISE! You won! You won!" Cerise's eyes widened when the woman she saw at the amphitheater who kept shouting her supposedly new name hugged her tightly. She couldn't move, blinking and wondering who this woman was. The woman in her mid-fifties broke the hug and cupped her face. "This is your first victory, dear! What do you like for dinner? Do you want your favorite?" Hesitant, Cerise nodded her head. "Up to you..." The nameless woman brought her to a small house which she surmised was where Cerise Blueth lived. The woman even pushed her to a certain room. She was bewildered and roamed her eyes around the corners. "Must be her quarters, huh." She hummed. Cerise sat on the mattress that was too firm. She started looking for the clues where this person, Cerise Blueth, had an idea for sacrificial ritual. "How am I supposed to know the covenant you made a deal with me?" She frowned. If Aishia doesn't know the accord Cerise left for her, it was useless that she was being summoned. 'I know she is after revenge. She wouldn't just sacrifice herself to summon me if it weren't for revenge.' Aishia concluded. She stroked her chin, leaning to the headboard. Then an idea came to her. She opened her palm. "Hmm... Let's see if my powers are still intact with me. I can summon my Asperse Grimoire," Aishia uttered as her grimoire magically appeared in her palm. She gasped in happiness and hugged the grimoire. "It has been a while, Asperse!" She hugged it one more time before she checked it. The outer layer was covered with metallic gold decorative frames. Its purple cover has a crescent moon toppled over the sun. She flipped the book and smiled when she saw the fore-edge painting on the edge of the book pages. Felix painted a scene where it was a simple house on a farm. They were already planning to be together and get married. Then they would live far, far away from where no one would disturb them. She caressed the book edges, biting her lower lip. She sniffed as her eyes were getting misty. "Felix..." She mentioned the name of her past lover that would never come back again. 'Once I fulfill Cerise's accord, I shall end my life and make sure that no one would be able to summon me again.' She clenched her hands. 'But first things first...' "Allow me to know Cerise Blueth's accord in exchange for her life to summon me," she ordered her Asperse Grimoire. Asperse Grimoire's one of its powers and capabilities is to be turned into a book of answers. Anything she would ask as long as she knows the person's name, Asperse Grimoire will give her the answers she wanted. But there is always an exception with her grimoire. The grimoire's pages started to flip on their own accord, trying to give Aishia the answer that she needs to know. Then it stopped in the middle and showed her the answer. "To become the strongest werewolf knight in the Galafean era of the Oriana Empire and kill the ones who make my life miserable?" She furrowed her eyebrows, perplexed by what she read. Then on the next page, her grimoire writes the names of the ones she has to kill. A sinister smile appears on her lips. She reread Cerise's wishes, especially the first one. "To become the strongest knight in the Galafean era... Hmm..." That suddenly reminds her of Felix as how he also became the strongest knight of the Durandian era, under the former Lycan Emperor of the Oriana Empire, Durandi Oriana. Now Cerise wanted to be the strongest knight in the Galafean era. Perhaps, she could do that and would manage to fulfill it somehow. But she was a bit surprised upon learning that she was still in the empire she lived for years ago. Wait... Aishia remembered something. "Did she just say Galafean era? Was he referring to Galafe?" Her hands clenched. "What era am I in and who is the current emperor of this empire?" she asked her grimoire, hearing her heart hammering inside her. The book pages of Asperse Grimoire flipped to another page. What she had read next suddenly enraged her. "What?!" she said angrily when she read it. She even stood up in no time for something that shocked her and at the same time, the bloodlust to kill that person started to arise from her. "That man..." she said through gritted teeth. Galafe Oriana, the 5th Lycan Prince, and the previous emperor, Durandi Oriana favored him that was why he became the Crown Prince. Aishia couldn't believe that Galafe is still the current emperor of this empire she was in. This wasn't the good news she was looking for after all. It was pretty annoying. "Is something the matter?" She turned her head when the old woman knocked on her door. She hissed before she hid her grimoire. "Nothing. I am doing fine," she answered. "I see." She sighed when the woman left her. "Who is that woman anyway?" She opened her grimoire. "Allow me to bestow me the details about Cerise Blueth's life," she ordered quietly. While transferring the details of Cerise's life, she came to find out that the woman who had been with her is Cerise's mother named Savvy Blueth. They came from Everlyn, the village they were living in. Her father died from protecting someone while on his knight duty. It was one of the reasons why Cerise wanted to be the strongest knight because she wanted to be like her father. 'Foolish dream.' She rolled her eyes. 'Only Felix can be the strongest knight... Now she wants me to become the strongest knight? Perhaps, Felix will love to see me become one.' She giggled quietly. Savvy prepared their supper, having meat porridge and bread on the table. They had come to celebrate her victory as in the next few days, Aishia or much well known as Cerise has to attend the knight training before attending the knight ordination ceremony. She has to complete the training before she could become the strongest knight Cerise wanted to be. Since she has ample time before she has to go back to the imperial palace, she would finish the task of killing the people listed here in Aishia's grimoire. "It has been a while since I killed numerous people..." she murmured while looking at the starry night sky, staying at the rooftop of their house. But then she remembered Galafe again. "That Galafe... I will never forgive him for slaughtering Felix." Enraged, she clenched her hands. "He must have enjoyed his life ever since I died. Well then, he must not be at ease now as I have come back to torment him." She smirked. It was favorable to her as of right now, no matter if she was being stabbed or killed right now, there was no way she would die again as the wounds would instantly heal. Even if they throw her a bucket of wolfsbane potion, she will never die again. If Aishia wanted to escape from having an immortal life, she must fulfill Cerise's covenant as soon as possible and begone again. "I shall pay him a visit soon," she murmured under her breath, smiling from ear to ear. "But before that..." she paused as her grimoire floated in front of her. "Shall we begin the party, Cerise Blueth?" she asked, grinning as the people she needed to torture were here in this village she was at. As she is the dark sorceress from the past and her powers were still intact, she planned to create a plague just for them. "Have an agonizing evening, everyone," she murmured, giggling.
