I have not spoken with Simone, since that peculiar evening in my room. I saw her about here and there, and we even had a few classes together. Right now, I was in physcolgy class, Bethany was sitting on my left next to me. I feel someone sits on my free right side, not paying them any attention, as I was checking over my notes from the previous lecture.
Suddenly, I feel Bethany shoves me in the ribs, with her elbows. I squeal softly, turning to her asks " What is wrong, with you?
She did not speak, instead I see her eyes and head moves to the right of me, a few times. I glace at my right and see Simone.
She smiles widely at me, when she notices me looking at her. I smile back at her a little, wondering why she was sitting next to me and why she was not with her other lycan royalities. She is soo strange, I thought.
Foucusing on the teacher, I ignore her. The bell shrieked signally the end of fourth period. I see out of my peripheal vision, Simone slip a piece of paper onto my desk. She then gets up and leaves with her crew following.
I open the fold paper and read what it said. "Tell me, what does it says?" Bethany asks excitedly. I say nothing as, I was stunned by her invitation to dinner. Getting fed up with my silence and abstract demeanor
Bethany peers over my shoulder at the note, reading it out loud "Dinner at my place tonight, meet me outside at 6pm."
"So are you going?" she asks in a rush. "Can I come? I always wanted to see, where the royal princess Simone lived," Bethany continues, bearly able to contain her excitement.
"What are we going to wear?" she asks, "We have to go shopping," she states.
I stuff the note in my psu book and pack away my book. Getting up, with Bethany shadowing me, we left the now empty classroom.
"Why are you not saying anything?" Bethany pipes up, holding onto my arm, preventing me from walking any further.
"I don't know how I feel about it " I answer "I need time to analyse it,"
"Anatascia, I know you grew up differently to us, but this is a big freaking deal. So please don't spoil it," she says passionly, staring at my face intensely.
"I need time alone. I will try my best to not spoil it as you suggest," I tell her, heading to my other class.
"I'll meet you later, in your room around five pm," Bethany yells out, going to her own class.
I was in my dorm room, just relaxing on my bed after having taking a shower. I had the note in my hand, trying to deciper any hidden intent, behind Simone's invitation.
Finding none, I decide that I would go to dinner, and see what happens.
I must have dose off, as I was awaken by knocking on my door. Glancing at my watch, I see the time is ten past five. Remembering Bethany request to accompany me, I get off my bed andcwalk over to the door.
Opening it, I see her weighted down with two bags.
"Help me?" she commands.
I reach out my hand and grab one of the bags off her. I backed back into my room, with her following. She dumps everything on my bed. I go to do the same with the bag I have but instead she takes it from me,
"That's the dress bag," Bethany tells me, hanging it on the back of my door hook.
"We can have the dresses looking rumple," she explains.
"So have you thought it over, and come to a conclusion?" she asks, looking agitated standing in the middle of my room.
I sit down on my desk chair, looking up at her. "I will go but, if it doesn't feel right, I will leave immediately," I tell her firmly.
" Great," Bethany says, " But you mean we, cause I am not missing this for the world," she says decisively.
"Ok," I confirm, feeling a bit reassure of her companionship to dinner.
