Chapter 7

After much fuss and compromise, we were finally dressed and ready to leave. Bethany had on a long mermaid style green sequin dress, with a long split up to her hip, on its right side, which displayed a healthy amount of her smooth tanned leg. Her blond hair was up in a high in a bun. She had a full face, of makeup, smoky eyes, with wigned tips, rogue cheeks and blood red lipstick.

I on the other hand constrast her outfit, with my simple attire. This is where we had clashed, as she had tried to put me in a red sequin dress, similar to the one she had on, but I had firmly refused, even to the point of nearly cancelling dinner.

I wore my long white flowing bohemian dress, with a cream two inch wedges shoes. My long white hair, was in its usual low plaited ponytail reaching my butt. I wore pink shimery lip gloss and a matching single pearl earings and necklace set with the chain in gold.

I locked my door, and we took the elevator to the ground floor.

A few students were relaxing on the couches in the foyer, they stared in awe when they saw us. A dark haired second human name Adam, came up to us and asks "Where are you going hotties? Can I come too?" While staring at us appreciately.

"No you can't," Bethany tells him, dismisively. He follows us to the main door, opening it for us. We stepped through and I turned towards him, "Thank you Adam, maybe another time," I tell him with a small smile. " Anything for you babes," he tells me, looking ahead of us, a frown staring to cover his face.

I turned in the direction of his gaze, and see a large tall man dressed in all black, standing next to a large black vehicle waiting.

Bethany, hustled down the steps, approaches him with a wide smile on her face. I slowed my steps, feeling nervous of a sundden. "You must be here for us," she asserts. He looks at her frowing slightly, then questions in a husky voice "Us? I am only here for Anatascia," he tells her. "Are you her?"

"No," Bethany says in a crestenfallen voice, turning to look at me.

I came up behind her and pat her on her shoulder in comfort.

"I am Anatascia," I say, to the tall man in black.

He stares at me face for a bit, not saying anything, then I feel his dark blue eyes raking me from my head to my toe. He stops at my face again, but this time his eyes are black and I see his wolf preeing out at me.

I kept my powers buried deep within me, ignoring his wolf.

"I am Alex, Simone's brother," he tells me. "I am here to collect you for dinner, only," Alex says glancing at Bethany.

As he says this, which just seem to make her more upset. Bethany turns and starts back up the steps, where Adam is still looking at Alex.

"Bethany, wait," I call out to her, she stops on the second steps turning back to look at me.

"If you can't come then I will not go," I say to her, glancing at Alex.

"The invitation was for you only, Anatascia," Alex tells me, shugging his shoulders in annoyance.

"Goodbye Alex, tell Simone I am sorry that I couldn't make it. Something came up," I say to him sweetly walking up the steps to reach Bethany.

"Anatascia, Alex is right. The invitation was for you only, please go," Bethany says, trying to smile out of her disappointment.

I looked in Adams direction and says flirtaeously,"How do you feel, about taking us out to dinner?"

"It's my pleasure," Adam replies smugly, spreading his hands, his palms faceing upwards.

Out of no where, I hear a loud meancing growl behind me.
