After placing my toiletries on the shelves next to the facebasin. I stared at my face in the mirror above the sink. You could not see much, as only my golden eyes were visible, but even that was adorned by glasses. I un pinned my hijab from over my head, freeing my face. Whenever, we had male visitors, I was instructed to cover my face and hair. I asked why, but was told that it was for my own safety. Druing my previous visit, I had seen a few students wearing it, and learnt it was a muslim wear. I was not a muslim, but was unsure if a male seeing my face would put me in danger. I had my guardians with me for protection. They were small gold snakes, with jewied eyes, wrapped around my hands and body as adornments. I stripped off the rest of my clothes, and pinned my long white hair, high ontop of my head. Opening the shower door, I see my missing chair. Now, why would some do this? Was it a joke of sorts. I did not understand. Removing it, I place it by the desk. After my shower, I dressed in a yellow sundress reaching above my knees. On my previous visit, I had purchase clothes, after some girls had laught at my wrapped robe. I remembered walking around the town, until I found a clothes store. I had walked inside and a girl, who introduced herself as Karla, help me picked out various outfits, shoes and bags. When it came time to pay, she asked for monies, but I did not have any. Instead, I offered her a small diamond, her eyes had opened huge, as she grabbed it from my hand. "Is this real?" she squealed excitedly. "Yes," I had told her. "You are not from here, are you?" she asked, looking me over. "No," I had told her. "I am from Egypt." After that first meeting, Karla would provide me, with anything I needed. That's how I got my fake id, and she helped me open a bank account, and get a credit card in my name. I would gave her two more diamonds and she sold it, and transfered the money into my account, so I had no worries for money. She told me that, I was now considered rich. I decide to explore the campus and put on my blue sandals. Should I cover back up my face? It was hot outside, and I didn't want to remain hidden. I compromise, taking a long scarf and wrapping over my head, and under my chin with the rest hanging over my shoulders and covering my hair. I pin it, to secure it from the wind. I exit my room, the hallway was empty. I got into the elevator, and go down to the lobby. I walkoutside the dormotry and around the campus. I was so caught up with my surroundings, that I did not notice everyone I passed staring at me. It was only when I sat on the steps by the open air auditorium, I heard whispers of "She is soo beautiful," and "She must be a model, with that face." I looked around and slowly realise that it was me they were whispering about. A group of three pretty girls, my age group approaches me, they stop in front of me and says "We have decided, we want you to join our group." "No thank you," I tell them. "Bethany, did she tell us no?" I hear the red head one says, looking at the blond girl, whom I detect to be their leader. "You do not tell us no," Bethany now tells me, as they surround me.
