Act 4 scene 3

Selena turns around to look at who was holding her hands in shock but then stops in confusion

Selena:tony?( She stares at the dark skined , tall,built,very handsome man standing in front of her)

Tony:hey red( the man smiles broadly exposing his perfect set of teeth then he turns to Brenda) and the run away princess

Brenda:is that really you tony?( She slowly walks closer to him) wow it's been so long

Tony: very true( he hugs brenda and then hugs Selena,and just at that point josh who had been following Selena with his eyes widens his eyes but doesn't break the conversation with the man)

Selena:you scared me there, ( she turns to brenda) i told you someone was watching me

Tony:well i didn't know when the right time would come to talk to you

Selena:you we're in town and didn't even try to connect,huh( she hits him lightly) what are you even doing here

Brenda:yeah what are you doing here

Tony: lets just say I'm a really big man in business so yeah

Brenda:we should definitely hangout sometime

Tony:of course ( brenda is about to say something when one of the waiters walk up to her and whispers something to her)

Brenda:sorry guys i gotta go handle something....did Selena tell you she is married ( she says before running out)

Selena:(turns back to him) ...sorry ..i...

Tony;i already know ,its not a problem

Selena:how do you know ( she looks a little suspicious)

Tony:i heard about from Max a couple days before the wedding

Selena:why didn't you come

Tony:you should know me red ,i don't go to places where I'm not invited

Selena:hey don't say that,if i had your number I'd have definitely sent an invite personally

Tony:(he laughs a little) i know

Selena:i didn't know you and max we're still in contact

Tony:we meet once in a while, he's a major customer for me

Selena:what business is that

Tony:i work in the fashion industry with my mom

Selena:really?, you really did follow through,i thought you were just kidding when you said that's what you wanted in school

Tony:i did too ,till i realized i actually like it( he pauses for a while) you look really pretty today

Selena:i do don't i( she turns around and they laugh)

Tony: so why are you moving alone

Selena:josh is busy talking to one of the investors and my mom is to busy talking to his mom,brenda is handling some stuff and larry ,so here i am

Tony:( he sighs heavily) how about we grab a glass and catch up then ,ill keep you company

Selena: alright then ( they walk to a table and he pours wine into two glasses for them and hands a glass to her as they walk to a balcony at the side of the building where some people were standing and chatting,they walk to the rail and lean on it)

So tell me how have you been

Tony:well after i left to canada for university, everything changed,my parents wanted to start again after we list Frankie so we go knew lives ,changed our numbers and all that ,but i kept telling them that i wanted to come back but they wouldn't hear it ,but later on my dad told me that if i came out with a first class from uni, which was insulting cause with my brains and looks i could do that without stress( he jokes and they laugh)

Selena:so i take it you did

Tony:yeah i did, i came back here and ...well started again,my mom came over to stay here with me after my dad died three years ago,and continued the business with me

Selena:im sorry...i didn't know that your dad died( she looks at him sincerely)

Tony:yeah( he pauses for a while) but then we've been great,i met max a couple of times and used to hang out at our free time ,he asked me to design a nice tux for jish and him when yall were getting married

Selena:oh so that was your work,i must say it was .... beautiful

Tony:i know

Selena:you will never change tony , can't you just say thank you to a compliment

Tony:you didn't say thank you when i told you that you looked beautiful ( he looks straight at her)

Selena: whatever ( she laughs and rolls her eyes)

Tony:so you won't say it?( He raises an eyebrow)

Selena:nope

Tony:okay( he laughs and nods)

Selena:( she looks shocked as if she had just remembered something and then she looks at him) the dior gig.....it was you( she widens her eyes)

Tony:( he hisses) i guess you got me ......it was me ......take it as my wedding gift

Selena:you f****d up s**t, why didn't you meet me personally,why didn't i audition( she hits him lightly)

Tony:i got you the gig cause i thought it will look perfect on you , besides i designed that dress specially for you ( he winks )

Selena:oh please ( she turns her eyes from him and sips her wine) ? so you in a relationship?.

Tony:nahh

Selena:why not

Tony:well i was kinda hoping that you'd be waiting for me when I came back ,i mean i did ask you to ( he smiles teasingly but she just looks forward and sips her wine) but its cool tho , you're married and my heart is ....... failing ( he puts his hand on his chest an squints his face)

Selena:oh shut up ( she rolls her eyes and they laugh) i did wait for you,but when you took a while i guess i did what I had to ( she becomes serious)

Tony:i think you did the right thing ( he whispers to her giving her a nudge with his shoulder)

Selena:( she gulps down all her wine and nods) i know

Tony: you see you didn't sat thank you ( they làugh)

Josh:long time no see tony( he walks in on them )

Tony:the main man!( He turns around and gives josh a bear hug) it's been a while

Josh:it has...how have you been doing

Tony: pretty good

Josh:(he looks over at Selena's glass and sees that it's empty, he walks to her side) i thought I told you not to drink to much( he says casually)

Selena:i thought I told you not to bother me, it's just a glass

Josh:(he scoffs) anyway Stephen wants to see you so we gotta go

Selena:oh okay,see you around tony( he nods and they leave)

Josh: you're not supposed to be too far from me wife( he holds her waist as they walk)

Selena: josh Bayer, you're jealous ( she teases)

Josh:you wish ( he scoffs ,they walk to stephen)

Stephen:(he notices Selena) Selena,its been a century ( they hug each other)

Selena: congratulations, sorry I've been really busy ,and quiet angry...you didn't attend my wedding ( she puts on a sae face).

Stephen:my apologies darling,but i was really busy that day.... am I forgiven

Selena:after a few shots( she clasps her hands)

Tony:are you sure about that ( he looks at Selena and then josh and then Selena again)

Josh: I won't stop her ( he smirks amd winks at her before leaving........
