I woke up the next morning and felt better than I have in a long time. My body didn't hurt as much, and I got the best night's sleep I had in a long time and the house was also quiet. There were no kids running around playing and no one talking. It was nice. I knew it was going to change again once the twins were born, but I'm hoping that I would feel different about it once they were here. While I loved their kids, but I struggled with them being here. It might be because I was still trying to heal.
I grabbed one of Reigns' t-shirts off the floor and headed to his office because he wasn't in bed, so that was the only other option. I opened his office door without knocking, and I was surprised to see Damien sitting there.
