I was sitting in the chair in Ellie's office. Josh was sitting outside her office. I don't know why I wanted to come here, but I didn't want to go back to the house and I knew that Reign needed to work. So, this was my solution.
"What's up?" she asked over her laptop. I knew she was working and busy.
"Nothing. I needed to get out of the house and I knew that Reign needed to work, and he hadn't been to the office lately because he stayed with me. I hate this." I whined.
"I'm sorry. I know that it sucks when we get put on lock down. You get used to it after a while. I knew that Jake was staying home with Amaya, and she went to Berkley's for the day. We could make Josh take us there. Go for a swim while the kids are at school," she said.
