Reign's POV
I stood outside Chloe's room waiting for Landrey to come out. She had been in there for an hour. I hated leaving her in there, but I had to trust her, and I was standing outside the door with the guard. I sat on the floor reading emails on my phone while I waited and when she opened the door, I could tell she had been crying. I jumped to my feet and rushed to her.
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing. Just girls getting emotional about things."
"OK, let's get you home," I said with a smile. We weren't done talking, but right now she looked tired, and I didn't like keeping her out very long.
"I know that you could work at the office. Why don't I lie down in the suite, and you can work."
