WELCOME HOME

The next morning, we went down for breakfast. After breakfast, Father asked us to meet him in his office.

We walked in and he said, “Please, have a seat. I just want to go over some things before you two leave.”

We sat in front of his desk, while he got his thoughts together. He relaxed a bit and leaned back in his chair.

“Ok, I have announced the deconstruction of the blending of the species law. Several were very happy. A few were beyond infuriated.

I have no doubt in your ability to protect my daughter Sabastian, but I will have some men, stationed at your pack-house, and in the forest between. Just for the time being.

The few that were not thrilled about my decision, are not good people. It was the Trinity Coven in California.” He explained.

My eyes grew larger. “Do you think they are going to start a war? Is that why Nicholi is here?”

He shook his head yes, “This is why Nichole is here. Every two hundred years, there is a female vampire and a male werewolf, that are mated.

Every time, something horrible happens to one or both of them. Either because one or both of them went crazy trying to stay away from each other. Or because they were forced to stay apart.

Werewolves know their mate by smell. Vampires know by blood. There is something different with the two of you.

You came looking for Lila, and chose to speak to me first. Lila was about to search the dungeons for you.”

Dorian and Sabina walked in. She said, “ and you could sense him. You knew right away, before even seeing him, that he was your mate.”

I looked at Sabastian, “that is true. When Matt brought me to your pack-house. I knew the moment I saw the mansion, I was home. All negativity I felt towards any wolves, vanished. I might have even apologized to Matt for beating him up.” I laughed.

Sabastian laughed with me, “I knew the moment you set foot on the property. Matt told me you had arrived, and then you were gone. I could smell you, even after you left. I couldn’t stay away.” He gushed.

My Father smiled and said, “This is a special union. Lila is a very strong, special vampire. She has abilities, even she doesn’t know about yet. You must be incredibly strong as well Sabastian.”

“About two hundred years ago, my great-great- great grandfather, was mated to a witch. I am stronger than most, and I have an enchanted wolf. He is magnificent!” Sabastian beamed.

My Father looked sad and asked, “Was your Grandfather’s name Magnas?”

Sabastian said, “Yes, Magnas Saba.”

Father said, “He was my friend. That was totally unheard of back then. He was an incredibly man.”

“That’s awesome, maybe one day, you can tell me about him.” Sabastian said.

Father bowed his head and said of course.

We stood up and made our way to the door. “We’re going to be leaving soon, I’ve just got to pack some things.” I announced.

We went up to my room and I began packing. I did the bathroom first, I can not leave my essential oils and bath salts behind. Then my huge closet, I didn’t pack everything. I can always come back for it. Then I packed some things in the bedroom, like sentimental things. Pictures, trinkets, books, and blankets. Then I was finished.

“All done, are you ready my love?” I asked Sabastian.

“Of course, whenever you are.” He replied.

I walked to him and sat on his lap. He nuzzled my neck and I hailed deeply. “I can’t believe I get to take you home. I’ve been dreaming of this.” Then he kissed me.

I spun around so I was facing him. “I can’t believe I get to go home with you. I never thought I would be able to.” I kissed him again.

He stood up, holding me. “We better get going.” He said. He set me down and noticed his huge package. “Did I do that?” I innocently asked.

He smacked my ass as we walked out the door. “Tease.” He whispered.

We made our way downstairs. I said goodbye to Rana and Nicholi first. She was a sniffing mess. “You can come visit anytime, and I’ll be back before you know it. Nothing can keep us apart.” I assured her.

Nicholi wrapped his arms around her and she cried into his chest.

Next was my brother and Sabina. “If you need anything at all, call. I’ll be there before you can even finish the sentence.” Dorian said, as he squeezed the life out of me.”

Sabina hugged me and said,“ I’m going to call you tonight. I have some news for you. I’m going to miss you so much! I’ll see you soon though.”

My Mother and Father were waiting by my car. She was struggling to keep the tears away.

“You are welcome anytime. Lila plans to come visit often as well.” Sabastian reassured them.

I hugged them both, Sabastian shook my fathers hand and my mother hugged him.

Father said, “Keep her safe Sabastian.” He promised I’d be safe, then we got in the car.

Two of my father’s men were in front of us, and two were behind us. Sabastian asked, “Are you ready my love?” I kissed his hand and replied, “I’ve never been more ready.”

It’s a fairly short trip to the Pack-house. We pulled up to the gate and Lawrence smiled. “Welcome home Luna, Alpha.” He said, then he opened the gates and we moved on.

Sabastian squeezed my hand, then the mansion stood in front of us. It is even more beautiful in daylight.

We parked and Sabastian walked around to open my door. Matt walked towards us. He smiled, “Welcome home Luna. We’ve been waiting.” He said.

I smiled and replied, “ It’s good to see you too Matt. I’m excited to be here.”

We walked to the front door and I again felt the rush of emotions. Even stronger than before. Sabastian stopped and looked at me. “Are you alright Lila? What happened?” He asked.

I smiled again and replied, “I got another rush of emotions. Even stronger than before. I’m ok, just happy.”

He kissed my forehead and we walked inside. It seemed like a dream. There were people everywhere. A huge grand entryway, white with wood paneling, and crown molding.

There are red, yellow, orange, and white flowers, everywhere. It is literally, breathtaking.

There’s a huge common room off to the right. TV’s, comfy couches and a wet bar. It looks very homey and comfortable.

Then behind that, is another room with a pool table, and another area with a tv and gaming chairs. There’s an area with high top bar tables and a large wall with dart boards.

Then across the hall, the dining room. There’s a huge wooden table in the center, probably for 100 people. Benches on either side and two smaller benches at the head of the table.

The walls are wainscoted. And it has a drop ceiling, with four gorgeous chandeliers. There’s a lot of greenery in here, it’s beautiful!

“This room is unbelievable. I wouldn’t change a thing!” I praised him.

Then to the kitchen. I stopped in my tracks. There’s a brick oven, a grill, four conventional ovens, a huge floating island right in the center, and a massive walk in pantry. “This is by far, my favorite room in the entire place!” I said, placing my hand over my mouth.

There’s a large bay window with a very inviting area to sit and watch the sun come up. White flowers with lots of green, are abundant in here. It’s perfect!

Then the pool, it’s in between the back of the house and the training arena. “Before we go out to see the gardens and the rest, can I see the rest of the house?” I asked.

“We can do whatever you would like, my love.” Sabastian replied.

We went back inside. The entire first floor has gorgeous cement tile floors. He showed me the gym on the first floor, it has a very unique black rubber floor. We then stopped on the second floor. He reminded me that unmated females are on the right, and unmated males are on the left.

The third floor is one I have been waiting for. We looked at the gym meant for higher ranks. Then he showed me his office, we walked in and he immediately closed the door and backed me up against it.

“So what do you think about our home so far, my Luna?” Sabastian asked.

“I think it is gorgeous! I would never change anything! It’s perfect the way it is!” I gushed.

He kissed me, I wrapped my arms around his neck and jumped, wrapping my legs around his waist.

He walked over and sat on the big brown leather sofa in the corner. I slowly started unbuttoning his shirt. I could feel his massive erection, about to bust through his pants. I rolled my hips a little, and ran my hands through his hair.

There was a knock at the door, followed by squealing and a shush. I jumped off his lap so he could adjust himself, and answer the door.

A very hyper blond rushed in. Followed by a man who looked very similar to Sabastian.

“Lila, I’d like you to meet my brother, Christopher. This little ball of fire, is my sister, Savannah.” He said.

Savannah looked like she was ready to explode with excitement. “It’s nice to meet you both.” I replied.

Savannah walked over to me and said, “can I hug you? I’ve always wanted a sister!” I laughed and said, “of course you can! I get it, trust me.” She grabbed me and crushed me to get chest.

Then Christopher walked over, pulled us apart and hugged me. “It’s so nice to finally meet you Lila. You can call me Topher if you’d like.”

Sabastian pushed them both out the door and said,” we’ll see you at dinner. We’re going to complete the tour first.”

We made our way to the library. It looks like something out of a movie. There are rows of books, levels of books, and rolling ladders. Very comfy looking overstuffed couches, chairs, and even bean bags. This room has a lot of leather and dark mahogany. It smells of old leather bound books. I like it! This floor is hard wood, in espresso. Gorgeous!

Then we met Matt and Lucas, on the fourth floor. “Lila, this is Lucas, and his wife Leslie.” Leslie came to me, and shook my hand. “It’s so nice to finally meet you, I’ve heard so much about you.” I hugged her tight and said, “I’m so happy to meet you too, and to have another female friend!” We all laughed.

“Nice to finally meet you, Luna.” Lucas said. I smiled and hugged him too. Then punched him in the shoulder. “I didn’t want you to feel left out. I’m sure Matt mentioned that I kicked his ass.” Lucas and Sabastian laughed so hard, they had to lean on each other for support.

“You definitely have to tell me about that sometime!” Leslie laughed.

We finally walked up to our floor. It was dark, shiplap walls. Curl scone lighting on the walls, burgundy carpet.

There’s a large family room, with hard wood floors. Two Large black, over-stuffed couches. A large over-stuffed chair on either side. A black entertainment area with more detailed scone lighting.

The entire wall is floor to ceiling window. Beautiful black lace, over sheer black curtains. He set some beautiful roses on the table.

“So, what do you think? Will you be happy here with me, for the rest of our lives?” Sabastian asked me.

“I think this is the most beautiful piece of property. It’s exquisitely furnished, and perfectly decorated. You did a very good job, Alpha. There’s just one room I am dying to see.” I replied.

“Which room is that?” He asked. “The bathroom, oh, and maybe the closet.” I teased.

I turned and walked down the hall. I found another large kitchen. Stainless steel everywhere. This room will need some touching up.

I found a beautiful large bathroom, a large closet, an empty bedroom, another empty bedroom, and finally, our bedroom.

I turned and used my finger to signal him follow me. He came right to me, and picked me up. He kicked open the door and asked, “would you like to take a bath?”
