I was a little disappointed when Lexi first turned me down for a date. But when she explained why and she wouldn’t blow her school work for me I was proud of her decision. She was holding on to what is important to her and wouldn’t put it off.
I was pleased when she said she would go out with me the next day. When she walked away to check on her other customers I turned to my friends. Keeping my voice low so Lexi couldn’t hear us, I asked “ So what do you guys think?” I brought them here to meet Lexi and find out a little more about her. I told them about meeting her and our interaction.
