Bound in runed silver shackles, its cold metal hissing at the touch of my pale soft skin. A red thick cloak is wrapped around me the hood covering my face as if to hide me as they smuggle me out. ‘They’ to my senses abilities and knowledge are vampires. Not a single sound comes form their undead bodies, not a breath or heartbeat. Not a whiff of scent except for the faintest scent of human blood, lingering on their skin. Two guards at my sides, plated with light metal armour, either to protect me or to keep their master safe as he leads the way. My rescuer of sorts leads us down endless stone corridors, his graceful walk meaningful in every step yet quietly not to wake anything in the corridors that are lit by candles that seem to be clinging to the walls. Slowly i feel my knees give out beneath me due to the the amount of walking. My knees hit the stone before I can brace myself, pain screeches throughout my legs. A small yelp escapes my mouth. I hear the guard shift to help me up. Panic and fear surges throughout my body, fearing the strangers around. “Stop” the command booms through the corridors, making me go still. Slowly raising my head to look up at the vampire. Dressed in a nice velvet black jacket that seemed to be threaded with silver thread, tells me that he’s either important or of higher class. I can make out his features more clearly in this light, his bright violet eyes almost hidden by thick black curls of hair, almost as black as night sky. A touch of sun kissed tanned skin unusual for a vampire but alluring for humans I guess. But most importantly how young his face seems, his features untouched by age and the world, the gift of immortality. Firmly yet gently he picks me up, helping me to my feet. His firm arm wrapping around my shoulder, his hand rest on my shoulder that makes me flinch, his hand refreshingly cool not ice cold like I had heard stories about when I was little. Arm around my shoulder he leads me towards a large opening with door lining the walls. My heart picks up in pace, fear and panic again surging through me. Thoughts fill my head of the cell I just left. What if they are just moving me to another cell? One worse then the other. I can’t do that again. I find my body acting before my mind, turning and twisting away the vampire’s arm. I hear him huff as to find me amusing in sorts. I run at the guards, feeling my body shift into its wolf like form not completely wolf but enough to give me strength. The guards prepare to fight. I hear a soft click and feel the shackles hum as if to acknowledge the sound. And then everything goes black. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ** Pillows of white float on a sea of pure blue, soft laughter dances though the air like pockets of happiness, rows and rows of green trees with red glossy apples hanging from the branches. And smiling faces... their smiling faces above all else were full of pure love. Smoke, so much smoke choking the air with its thick black cloud. Flames of red and blue leap around the room engulfing everything in its path. Eyes of pure red stare at me almost cheerful at the destruction. Screams pull my eyes away from the eyes towards the my bedroom door, pure fear can be heard in the screams. Mum... Unaware of my new surroundings I find myself on a plush bed with pillows and blankets, in a lit room lush with furniture,a giant mirror on a near by wall and a fire place that crackles with life. I scan the room looking for a way out, spotting curtains I find my heart catch. The outside. I find myself across the room and drawing the curtains back as if on instinct. Tears stream down my cheeks, the moon hangs half full in the sky the stars twinkling as if saying hello old friend. I see a lit courtyard with lush hedges and statues. I touch the glass its coolness kissing my finger in delight. I hear my door open and a figure enters.
