It wasn't long before the nurse called a name. Amanda then walked over to receive the blood tube and took Carter to the blood drawing station in another department. While waiting for the nurse to prepare the needle in front of the room, Amanda noticed Carter fidgeting and shaking his leg non-stop, as if he was excited. The petite person asked directly,
"Are you scared?"
"Scared of what? I'm not scared."
"Good, because the needle is really big." Despite his obvious nervousness, he chose to lie, which made her quite annoyed, so she said it like that. And it wasn't just a bluff; the blood drawing needle was indeed as big as she said.
Carter, hearing that, glared at Amanda and grumbled, "You're such a nuisance!" He didn't say anything further because the nurse called him just then,
