After hanging up with Kim, Amanda sat by the pool for a while before heading into the house. Not seeing anyone, she looked around curiously, wondering where everyone had gone. But upon hearing a sound like a suitcase being dragged from the second floor, she looked up to see Mildred, the housekeeper, dragging her suitcase out of the bedroom. Amanda quickly went upstairs and asked with a puzzled face, "Where are you taking my suitcase, Mildred?"
"Mr. Carter told me to move your clothes to his room."
"Did he really say that?" Amanda asked again to be sure, because she thought he was just trying to win an argument last night and didn't expect him to be serious.
"Yes."
"Alright, you can go back to your chores. I'll handle it myself." After taking the suitcase from Mildred, Amanda dragged it
