Elara The black veins hadn't completely vanished by the time I returned to my room. They no longer reached my hands, but they were still visible on my arms and neck. I knew I should be worried, but I wasn't. I didn't care. Still, knowing I needed to conceal them, I wrapped a scarf around my neck before leaving the room. With my purpose in mind, I headed towards the office responsible for student location. "Hi, I need to locate a student," I told the receptionist, my voice honey-sweet. The woman looked at me skeptically. "We can't just hand out that information. Why do you need it?" I forced a blush to my cheeks, dropping my gaze feigning embarrassment. "I... I was supposed to meet up with him last night, but I chickened out. I want to apologise, but I know if text him he's going to ignore me." My act must have been was convincing because the woman's expression quickly softened. "Alright, dear. What's his name?" I gave her the name, and after a few taps on her keyboard, she gave me the room number. I thanked her and left, with a triumphant smile on my face. Upon reaching his room, I knocked but received no answer. So, with a click of my fingers, the doorknob turned and the door swung open. I couldn't help but wish I had known magic was real and that I possessed it years ago. How different my life could have been. How much easier everything would have been. Closing the door behind me, I began to rummage through the room. Noting that he didn't have a roommate, I made myself comfortable. As I sat on the edge of his bed, I found a schedule sheet on the bedside table. Checking the time, I knew he could be back any minute. Feeling the need of the release Asher refused me, I removed my clothes, leaving only my underwear in place. The door opened not long after I had settled on the bed. As he walked in, his eyes widened with surprise. "Elara? What are you doing here?" "Hello, Leon," I responded, a wicked smile playing on my lips. "Come here and I,ll show you," I beckoned. He dropped his bag on the floor and locked the door. As he approached the bed, I tried to remove his shirt, but he held my hands, stopping me. "Why are you here, Elara?" But instead of answering, I redirected the question. "Why did you come back to school, Leon?" "I needed to scout for our next sacrifice," he admitted. I didn't want to hear any more. I had heard enough. Getting on my knees, I locked eyes with Leon. Slowly, I slid the straps of my bra down my shoulders, unbuckling it and letting my breasts drop. I took Leon's hand, and gently placed it on my breast. With my other hand on his wrist, I pulled him onto the bed, so I was laying beneath him. The second our body's touched his lips attacked mine. His kiss was fierce, filled with an unspoken tension. As his lips began to travel down my neck, I pushed his head lower until he was settled between my legs. He wasted no time in pushing my knickers aside and slowly dragging his tongue up through my folds, sending sparks of pleasure through me. Every now and then, I would catch him gazing up at me, his eyes filled with lust. So, I couldn't help but taunt him. "Is that all you've got?" I teased. I felt him smile against me before he entered his fingers, thrusting hard and fast. I gasped, my hands fisting the sheets as the pleasure built within me. His movements were relentless, pushing me closer and closer to the edge. As my orgasm hit, I cried out, my body shaking with the intensity of it. "Suck...," I instructed, my voice breathless. "Don't stop..." Once the waves of pleasure subsided, I flipped us over, straddling him. The surprise in his eyes was quickly replaced by desire, and I couldn't help but smile. I was in control. With swift movements, I freed his d**k from his jogging bottoms, my eyes never leaving his. I watched as his pupils dilated, his breath hitching. Slowly, I lowered myself onto him, a gasp escaping my lips as I took him in. His hands gripped my hips, his fingers digging into my flesh. As I moved, Leon's length filling me completely, I was quick to reach my climax once again. My nails dug into his shoulders as waves of pleasure washed over me, my body quivering with the intensity of it. Leon's lips gently sucked on my neck, his arms wrapping tight around me as he held me close, forcing me to ride out my orgasm. As I let out a shaky breath, he rolled us over, still inside me. He wrapped my legs around him, pushing deeper, his lips lowering once again to mine. But as his lips met mine, I reached under the pillow, my fingers closing around the cold handle of a knife. And in one swift movement, I slit his throat. As his eyes widened in shock, his grip on me loosened. As the life drained out of him, I pushed his body off me, watching as his lifeless form crumpled onto the bed. It was done. Leon was gone. And I was one step closer to my revenge. Asher It had been two days since I'd seen Elara, and Leon was due back hours ago. A sense of unease had settled deep within me, and I knew something was amiss. I gathered the Brotherhood in the chapel, the room echoing with whispers and hushed conversations. As I stood at the pulpit, a hush fell over the room, all eyes on me. "Something is wrong," I began, my eyes scanning the faces of my brothers. "I can't explain it, but I feel it. Has anyone seen Elara?" Silence met my question, my brothers exchanging glances but remaining silent. As my gaze swept over the room, I noticed Andre fidgeting, his eyes darting around the room. As I was about to question him, the doors to the chapel flew open with a loud crash. All eyes turned towards the entrance, and there she was. Elara stood in the doorway, a wicked smile on her face. "Looking for me?" she asked, her voice echoing in the silent room as she flicked her hair over her shoulder. I felt a chill run down my spine as I met her gaze. There was something different about her, something darker. And I had a sinking feeling that things were about to take an even darker turn. Elara's sudden appearance felt like a slap to the face. With her absence and Leon's unexplained delay, her casual entrance and defiant smirk felt like a challenge. "Where have you been, Elara?" I demanded, my voice echoing in the silent chapel. "None of your business, Asher," she retorted, her voice cool and steady. Her defiance annoyed me. But just as I was about to remind her who was in charge, Andre's phone rang. Elara nodded towards him, a strange glint in her eyes. "You might want to answer that, Andre." Andre hesitated for a moment before answering the call. As I watched his face drop, my heart sank. I knew something was wrong. "Put it on speaker, Andre," I ordered. The voice on the other end of the line was one i recognised, it belonged to one of the girls from Leon's class. "I found Leon... He's dead," she stuttered, her voice choked with tears. I saw red. My gaze turned to Elara, the suspicion and anger building within me. Andre, was the first to attack, a surge of energy flying from his fingertips towards Elara. But she was ready, her own magic deflecting his attack, sending it ricocheting off the chapel walls. I joined the battle, my magic uncoiling from within me like a serpent. A surge of dark energy flew towards Elara, but with a flick of her wrist, she formed a shield around herself, my magic bouncing off harmlessly. Dante and Mikhail, teamed up, their magic intertwining in a dazzling display of darkness and energy. But Elara was unmoved, her own magic forming a barrier that absorbed their combined attack. Elara retaliated with a power I had never seen before. Her magic pulsed with a dark energy, waves of it crashing against us. We attempted to shield ourselves, but the force of her magic was too strong, sending us sprawling backwards. She was not just deflecting our attacks, she was dominating us, her magic overpowering ours with an ease that was terrifying. Despite our numbers, we were losing this battle. The scene unfolding before me was nothing short of terrifying. Elara, with her dark magic, had us all restrained. I could only watch in horror as Dante was dragged screaming by an invisible force towards the pentagram carved into the floor at the base of the altar. She muttered something under her breath, and with the rise of her hands, the five points of the circled star erupted into flames. Fear gripped my heart. I knew it took immense power to do that with nothing to ignite. Elara was not just powerful; she was a force of nature. Then, she began to speak. Her voice was calm, almost eerily so. “Remember the night you brought me here?” she began, her eyes sweeping over us, “Intent on sacrificing me for power. You thought I was weak, helpless. You relished in my fear, in my pleas for mercy.” I remembered that night, the fear in her eyes, her desperate pleas. But the girl before us now was not that same frightened girl. She had become something far more terrifying. “Remember how I begged to be let go,” she continued, her voice steady, “Remember how upon being ignored I accepted the death that never came. Remember it well, because tonight, it's your turn to beg.”
