I had never believed in magic in my life, so when the record files mysteriously disappeared from my laptop, I didn’t take it as a glitch.
With the eyes of the entire staff fixed on me, there was no place to hide. In order to buy some time, I decided to play along. Acting like a pitiful employee, I promised to pay back fifty thousand dollars to avoid the police complaint and accept the dismissal letter.
Daleyza called me when I was alone in my cabin.
“Oh, my Goddess, Ann. I can’t believe what just happened!”
Gasping in disbelief, she explained the situation to clear her name.
“Trust me, Ann. I didn’t know that Mr. Hudson would create trouble.
